Naturally, elder dragons were stronger than mere mature and young ones, and so, the elder wind dragon courageously shot straight for Menas without waiting for her allies.
Despite her obviously inferior raw attributes, Selene believed that Menas wouldn't be able to defeat her instantly.
After all, like the elder fire dragon, she, too, was an elder among dragons.
It wouldn't be that easy for Menas to defeat her despite his race's notorious might in dragon versus dragon duels.
