It started as one versus seven now it was just down to one versus two, it was supposed to be one versus three but the shell was still inactive.
"So, who wants to get zapped next?" Ariel asked with her gaze on both the gorilla and the bear.
The gorilla smashed both of its hands into the ground before letting out a loud growl and the bear followed suit by letting out a loud growl before smashing both of its hands together.
This was what it was trying to do earlier, and this time Ariel allowed it to do it just for the sake of seeing the outcome.
A blast of sound wave was quickly fired toward her from the bear at that moment but just before it could get to her, she thrust herself up with the wind.
"You're the only Lord tier beast here that doesn't have an elemental ability, am I correct?" She remarked while still in the air.
The beast she was facing was a beast that was known as the Sound Bear, a Demon beast powerful enough to easily tear people apart by joining both of its hands together to produce powerful sound waves, after reaching Lord tier. The most a Master tier Sound Bear can do is blow up eardrums and cause severe internal injuries and doesn't sound nice either.
These Demon bears could be easily identified by their brown fur but the main catch was that the fur on their head was blue.
The sound blast missed Ariel and kept moving forward until it got to the wall on the other side and smashed straight into it.
"You'll never be able to hit me with that, if you could produce it without having to obviously join both of your hands together then you might have had a chance."
The beast raised its hands toward her at that moment and was about to join them together when she quickly dashed down toward it and stumped it down with both of her feet.
She seemed to have used more force than was intended there because it sounded like a mini meteorite hit the area.
The wind emanating from her blew up a lot of dust to cover up everyone's view and lightning sparks filled the air. After getting stumped like that, the bear's chance of survival was very unlikely.
The gorilla was well aware that it was next so it used the dust to its advantage.
When it looked like it was all about to clear up, fresh dust was kicked up in a path leading straight to someone.
The gorilla was moving quite fast and it was obvious now what ability it had, this ape was a speedster.
It got to Ariel from behind in no time and without hesitation, both of its hands lit up with flames as the attempt to smash her down was suddenly put in place.
For a moment there, it looked like she was just going to stand there and take but within milliseconds she quickly kicked her spear up and smashed it right down the Gorillas got to send the beast tumbling far away from him.
Adding wind pressure to that hit really did the job of creating a good distance between them.
The dust the beast kicked up around her was clearing up now as she walked out of it with her spear in her right hand.
"You might be lucky enough to have speed as your second ability and I don't have that but when you're me you come to realize that having two abilities that aid speed is better." She articulated before pointing her spear at the beast.
The beast she was facing now was quite a dangerous one, a beast now as the Flame speed Gorilla, with speed and fire as its abilities this beast was quite formidable but that didn't really add much in this current situation.
This beast could easily be recognized by looking at their hands, while every part of their body was black, their hands were red.
"I can see myself speed-blitzing you from here but that would be no fun, don't you agree?" Ariel remarked with a condescending smile on her face. "What do you say we put your death on hold for a while and have some fun first? It's totally your call."
Any other beast would have already launched another attack on her after getting slammed back like that but ape-like beasts or most humanoid beasts were generally smarter than the rest so this one could tell that it was in a pretty hopeless state.
The beast was aware that straight up attacking her would most likely lead to its demise but she wasn't the only one in the area it could attack.
The beast quickly turned to Noelle who was watching everything from the side at that moment and without hesitation it quickly closed up on her.
Noelle didn't even realize it until the beast had both of its hands above her but just before it could bring it down, it was blasted back by a powerful blast of wind and lightning that sent it flying back until it smashed into the wall creating a huge dent on it.
"Ariel?" Noelle muttered before letting out a sigh of relief as her friend could be seen standing in front of her now.
"Did that thing touch you?" She inquired with a sharp, serious tone.
"No, thanks to you."
Just after getting that response, she quickly dashed toward the gorilla, and just as she got to the beast, she smashed its head into the wall with his right boot before crushing its throat to stop the annoying sounds it was making.
"This was supposed to be a fair fight between the both of us but somehow you got the bright idea of going after my friend. Who the heck gave you permission to touch her!?"
Her crimson eyes suddenly lit up at that moment and it looked like her hair was getting blown up by the wind surrounding her body.
"Looks like you don't want the quick death I gave your friends over there." She grumbled.
The wind force surrounding her body was quite powerful to the extent that everything behind her was completely blocked out by thick dust.
It was pushing down the beast preventing it from making any kind of movement and making it feel the worst kind of pain.
"Yes, feel that, that's how all those people felt when you were slaughtering them." She snapped in anger as both of the beast's hands suddenly got slashed off.
The beast opened its mouth wide to scream in pain, but before it could close it, its head was on the floor.
"Stupid beast." She scoffed before turning away from it.
The wind around her body settled at that moment and the dust finally began to settle.
The fight was finally over, and what was left was a mini version of a battlefield representing a battle between humans and beasts.
There were numerous lifeless bodies on the floor and although Ariel tried her best to avoid most of them a couple of them ended up getting blown into numerous pieces by her.
The human bodies lying dead in the arena numbered up to six hundred and most of them had their body parts separated from them, there was blood everywhere, in the stands, on the walls, and on the arena floor.
It was a gruesome sight, one she could look at clearly now but all she could do was look at them with a cold expression.
Everything she was doing while fighting the beasts was to keep herself from going berserk because of the bodies around her but the gorilla flipped that switch the moment it decided to go after Noelle and she lost it.
At that moment, she turned her gaze to the highest point in the area before thrusting herself into the sky.
"Looks like she's coming here." The woman up there said before turning her gaze to Arsha to find out that he was no longer there. "Oh, he left."
Arsha was gone and now she had questions to answer because Ariel was standing in front of her with that cold look in her eyes.
