It might have looked like there was a lot of chaos down at the arena when most of the beasts were still alive and there were a lot of people running around in there but that wouldn't be able to compare to what was about to happen now that there were just seven lord tier beasts and a third-year Aigis academy student.
"Hey, don't you find it strange that those lord-tier beasts haven't shown any of their abilities so far?" The woman behind Arsha inquired after observing everything that had happened so far.
"Have you ever fought a lord-tier beast before?" Arsha questioned.
"No, but reports say that they have very powerful abilities and the ones with elemental abilities are the most dangerous out of them." She responded.
"Thought as much, so here's more to add to that, most lord-tier beasts are incredibly strong without their abilities so they don't bother using it unless."
At that moment, his gaze shifted to Ariel who was still keeping herself afloat with her wind ability.
"Unless they come into contact with something or someone strong enough to destroy them."
Ariel's crimson eyes suddenly lit up at that moment as she quickly thrust herself down as her body quickly got covered with lightning.
She aimed for both of the snakes because as far as she was concerned not because they were necessarily weaker because unlike normal snakes their venom was strong enough to kill her with just one bite, the best she could do was try to stop the venom with her mana and in a situation like this where she was up against more than one lord tier beast, that was fatal.
She hit the black snake directly before quickly sending a strong stream of lightning through the beast's body that kept frying the thing until it turned into ash.
The yellow snake could have gotten caught up in this shocking disaster its mate just faced but it was fast enough to quickly move back and once it was a good distance away from the threat, it opened its mouth and sent a huge blast of fire her way.
"Wrong choice." She clicked her tongue before throwing her spear straight toward the snake.
The spear created a wind vortex as it moved to clear out the flames and stop them from getting to her but the snake was in trouble now.
Just before the beast could close its mouth, the spear smashed right in there and held it open before quickly blowing in a huge amount of air into its body.
Nothing could handle that much air without anywhere for it to escape from as the spear was constantly sending back the ones trying to escape through the opening which was the mouth, and this was without factoring in the wind force.
It took just six seconds for the snake to inflate like a balloon and explode like one.
Both of the snakes were gone and now it was just down to five more lord-tier beasts or four if you count the only ones that were ready to fight.
"I don't know, I just don't like reptiles," Ariel remarked as her gaze shifted to both of the brown frogs that had their gaze on her. "Oh, looks like you're waiting for me to make a move."
She was right on the money about that because as soon as she took a step forward, one of the first frogs fired its tongue toward her.
A normal person wouldn't be able to avoid that because it moved almost at the speed of sound but having both wind and lightning as abilities came with the benefit of speed for Ariel.
She was the fastest student of Aigis Academy surpassing even the speedsters in her class and that made her one of the fastest people in the world.
She was able to easily avoid the tongue, but as if the frogs had already figured out that she was going to dodge it, that one turned out to be just a distraction.
The other frog fired its tongue at that moment and it ended up catching her by the leg.
"Oh?" She muttered in an oblivious tone before looking down at her leg.
The frog quickly pulled her a little closer before flinging her straight into the air.
"Why did she let herself get cut?" The woman behind Arsha gasped with a shocked expression on her face.
A lot of people would be screaming their lungs out getting thrown into the air like that but not Ariel, after all, she used to launch herself into the air for fun as a child but she wasn't the only one getting launched into the air sometimes.
"So, it's you, it's sort of hard to differentiate between you and the mud frog but it is you, cannon frog!"
A strong burst of wind surrounded her body as both of the frogs quickly fired huge water cannons at her.
"That might work on anyone else but not me, I can freely move in the air, because it's my friend!"
She quickly dashed toward the frog that threw her into the air and with both of her hands joined together she smashed the beast down.
The impact of the beast getting smashed down shook the ground to an extent, out of instinct, the other frog launched its tongue toward the threat to protect the other one but that turned out to be a mistake.
Ariel raised her right hand for the tongue to wrap its tongue around and just before the thing could pull her off, she sent a quick blast of lightning from the tongue to the mouth.
The pain from the lightning disoriented the frog just enough for her to pull it closer before smashing it on the floor.
At that moment, the bear standing by the side let out a loud growl that shook the arena before quickly charging toward Ariel.
It was just about to join both of its hands together when Ariel turned her left hand toward it and blasted it back with a powerful force of wind, it was strong enough to send a beast that huge flying back until it crashed into the wall.
"Stay out of this, I'll deal with you later, I have to make sure these two meet in the afterlife to discuss how miserably their plan of blasting me into numerous pieces failed." She sounded angry but what she had on her face was a grin that hid behind it amusement and pure murderous intent.
"Your time's up reptile siblings." She remarked before stepping on both of the frogs at the same time.
A surge of electrical energy quickly surged through their body and while the woman upstairs was expecting them to turn into ash like the snakes, they blew up into numerous pieces leaving her to fall back to level ground.
She was in the middle of a bloody blow-up but her hair and uniform remained unstained.
"She's been holding back all this time?" The woman gasped. "Who the heck is that girl? Wait, silver hair and lightning plus wind, I also heard the other girl yell Ariel before she arrived."
After piecing everything together, she was able to tell who she was looking at.
"If I didn't see it for myself, I would never believe that she was this powerful."
