As the Massive fire ball came towards Sky his mind blacked out for a second, before he started making handsigns.
Monkey, Ox, Hare, Boar, Dog, Bird, Dragon
"[Water Element: Dragon's Head]" Water started to gather from in between Sky's hand forming a dragon's head which charged towards the Massive Fire ball.
Boom~
The two attacks collided creating steam covering the whole fighting ground.
Sky coughed up a little as he landed on the ground waiting for the steam to clear up.
His azure blue eyes glared at Monica who had an expressionless face as she hold her great mage staff with both hands.
Instead of feeling fear from how cold and intimidating Monica looked, he felt an emotion he hadn't felt in years.
He couldn't pin point what it was but he just needed to win.
Monica spinned her staff and fireflies started coming towards the young mage's direction.
[Exploding Fireflies]
'She has the silent casting skill, this is going to be troublesome,' Sky thought as he started channelling mana all over his body.
Sky's body started to float above ground leaving the fireflies to explode undernith him.
Boom~ boom~
Countless explosion took place leading Sky to fly a few metres away from the place.
"Flight Magic I can do it too," Monica smircked before she started to float above ground.
Swook~!
As if waiting for that cue, two magic arrows from the sky were out at Monica.
Monica widened her eyes in surprise, but she reacted quickly and made an invisable two layer shield 2 metres tall.
Crack~!
The first layer broke into a million shades which disappeared instantly, before Monica would think that she was safe.
Swook~!
Crack~!
Two more magic arrows broke the last layer leaving her vulnerable for the next ten minutes, as it is common knowledge that shield skills took 10 minutes or more to be used again.
"Arghh," Monica grunted
She realized that the intension of both attacks was to test if she had any shield spell, almost as if Sky wanted her to leave the ground.
Although this left a bitter taste in Monica's mouth, being outsmarted by a mere brat who just started going to the Academy four days before, what could one of the three weakest spells do?
Break her shield if used by a person with more mana than her.
Gritting her teeth, Monica was about to fire a Massive Fire ball, when a barrage of magic bullets come towards her and she was unable to dodge leading her to fall on the ground.
"Arghh," she groaned and couldn't help but wonder why Sky has so much mana, "...he should be below level 10, is he using a magic item."
"You can just give up instead of wondering to much. It's easy," Lucas sighed, landed a few metres away from Monica in case she might pull out something.
"Never!" Monica shouted as she stood up, "From the burning lands of the Spirit world!"
Above Monica's head a red vortex started to gather, a thundering sound echoed through the whole fighting grounds.
The small flames swirling around Monica began to gather. Sky knew what was taking place as it was something he had seen on TV.
"I call upon the spirit Fur-fire!"
As soon as Monica said that, the flames materialised completely making a loud roar.
A hand sized fur ball of fire could be seen floating on top of Monica's head.
"What a grand entrance for something small," Sky sighed as he stepped a few inches back.
Spirits can only use spells their summoner have multiplied two folds and they disappear as soon as the summoners Mana depletes.
"Don't mock my Spirit Call skill!" Monica barked, "Fur-fire use [Target Lock] together with [Fire Arrow]."
Fur-fire roared before opening its mouth to release a fire arrow directed at Sky.
Swook~!
The arrow was very fast but thanks to the training he had the previous day, Sky knew dodging it was easy.
Sky channeled mana through out his whole blood vessels. Sky's felt light and a surge of strength.
He smiled before dashing towards the air making the fire arrow follow him, before he charged directly at Monica.
Monica was shocked by this bizarre move which made her shot another fire arrow at the brown haired boy.
Boom~!
Before the second Arrow could hit Sky, as he flew sideways making the two arrows cancel each other.
Monica was shocked again by how Sky used her own spells to his advantage. Making her question, if Sky was holding back.
"He he"
Shaking Monica out of her daze was the sound of Sky letting out a chuckle.
"Spirits suck. You should say, "I choose you," instead of useless chanting," he said as he landed on the ground.
"Fur-fire use [Target Lock] together with [Rapid Fire arrows]."
Monica didn't give Sky time to rest as Fur-fire roared a little before shooting six fire arrows at the young brown haired mage.
"Sigh, as I said next time say, " I choose you.", " Sky said as he began printing hand signs.
Roar~!
A large dragon's head came from in between Sky's hands charging towards the incoming attacks.
The fire arrows vanished leaving the water dragon head making its way towards Monica.
The attack wasn't very fast leading to the black girl casting a counter spell.
"Fur-fire use [Massive Fire ball]."
Swul~!
Fur-fire shot a fire ball matching Sky's attack. The two attacks quickly met causing steam to cover the whole fighting ground.
Swook~!
Before Monica could regain her vision a two metre long water arrow came towards her direction. She couldn't react and closed yer abyss black eyes to brace for impact.
Swish~!
However to Monica's surprise, the attack was aiming for Fur-fire resulting in it passing through like it never hit anything
"Fool. Its common knowledge that non-soul attacks don't work on spirits," Monica smircked as the smoke died living the image of a brown haired boy painting heavly.
"So you finally run out of mana," Monica said as Fur-fire started to increase in size until he was the size of a normal soccer ball, "Die!"
[Silent Casting] + [Target Lock] + [Fire Rain]
Monica poured out all of her remaining Mana into that attack. She used [Silent Casting] to make sure she takes Sky by the element of surprise leaving he no chance to react.
Raindrops of blue flames started coming out of Fur-fire mouth with rashed towards Sky at an alarming speed.
"What the hell?" Sky couldn't believe the sight in front of his eyes, as the blue flame raindrops caught on to his jersey.
"Ahhh!"
Sky screamed in agony as his whole body started to burn down into nothing.
Monica looked at the place where Sky used to stand with cold and emotionless eyes.
"He is finally gone," Monica sighed before Fur-fire started to vanish.
A cold breeze of air could be felt all over the fighting grounds.
Monica felt a chill run all over down her spine. She didn't know what was causing this feeling, but she knew the answer was behind her back.
She slowly turned her head like someone was gripping her neck.
"How!" She couldn't what she saw, the image of someone she thought she had killed a few seconds ago.
Sky had just finished printing hand signs and a dragon's head made from water started to materialise in between his arms.
"[Water Element: Dragon's Head]"
Roar~!
With a loud roar the dragon head swallowed Monica carrying her to the edge of the fighting arena.
Boom~!
Thud~!
The walls creacked leaving Monica's body to fall face of the ground.
"Next time when you burn someone make sure they don't turn to mist." Sky said as he patted his clothes.
[SKY YU IS THE WINNER]
The voice of the Academy A.I system anounced the winner of the match leading to total silence through the whole fighting ground. Almost everyone was shocked by the resulted.
Ding~
A light green holographic panel showed up in front of Sky's face.

"When Sky's dragon head collided with Monica's [Massive Fire Ball] spell for the second time, Sky used the smoke to his advantage by making a clone of himself.
He then turned his body into an arrow and used his clone to throw himself towards Fur-fire, making him land behind Monica.
After that we all saw what happened."
It was the voice of Clara who had just finished explaining what took place to the students who where still confused about what happened.
"Thank you Clare," Dean smiled making Cream haired girl blush violently as she looked to the side.
Dean smircked and looked at Stewart, "Hey Waitforit lets increase the stakes of the match a little."
Stewart looked at Barney who was just standing up, "Go on."
"If your student wins I will name all my assets in your name and you will do the same if my student wins," Dean said as he slapped Urchin at the back of the head.
"I don't know what you are getting at but okay," Stewart smiled as he signalled Burney to go to the fighting arena.
Dean took out a mana contract paper from the pockets of his trench coat and handed over to Stewart, "Just infuse your mana and its done."
Stewart took the mana constract and infused it with his mana before giving it Sun Yao, "I will let the Principal hold on to it for safe keeping."
Sun Yao took the mana contract and stored it in her inventory in silence.
Dean smiled inwardly and thought, 'I made the mana contract myself and its created I made sure to make it have zero effect on me what so ever.'
"Okay lets do this," Urchin said as he stood up and headed towards the fighting Arena.
Urchin fist dumped Sky who was on his towards the stands along the way.
Sky sat next to his teacher who ruffled up his hair before saying, "To think you managed to learn three spells in one day. I don't really know what to say. I am proud of you Sky, I really am."
Sky turned his down and blushed a little, It was the first in 10 years since a human said those words to him, even though some part of him doesn't believe Dean is a human.
