Chereads / Call Me Vamp / Chapter 9 - The view is nice

Chapter 9 - The view is nice

Eliza blinked twice. What did he just say?

"Be my model." Felix repeated.

"Excuse me? Did you just say, 'Be my model'?" Felix nodded."And why would I want to do that?"

"You've got everything a perfect model should have." Felix stated but it did not quail Eliza's anger.

"A few minutes ago, you were calling me a vamp. And now, you want me, a vamp, to be your model?" She asked in disbelief.

"What difference does it make? You don't think you can be 'just' a designer, right? Be my model instead." Felix shamelessly asked and she scoffed.

"Well, first of all, I don't want to be a model. And second, who the heck are you, trying to decide what I should and shouldn't be?" She folded her arms.

"I'm Felix of the F4." He boldly introduced. "I think you know what that means."

"No, I do not." She frowned. 'Wait, this doesn't seem good. What if he uses this as an excuse to push me out? I'm already using the elevator without permission and...' She furrowed her eyebrows. 'Let's just play it by the tooth.'

"You'll get wrinkles." Felix pointed out. "Does it take so long to accept a simple offer?"

"What's in it for me?" Eliza suddenly asked and he stared, speechless but then smirked and said.

"I won't call to get you fired." He offered.

"There's no way there won't be rumours if word gets out that I became your model after a 'personal' invitation from the famous 'Felix of the F4'." She said and shook her head.

"Does it matter?" He asked with an indifferent look on his face. It clearly didn't concern him that she'd be subjected to dirty rumours.

'Ah, this jerk.' Eliza thought. "Then I won't do it." She said and finally broke free from his grip. "I can't do something my heart isn't set on." She said and just then, the elevator doors opened.

Felix watched her as she walked into the open air. She turned and tossed his phone towards him.

"See ya." with that, she walked away without, for a second, turning back to look at him.

Felix didn't know what to say or do. His reaction was late and he simply let the elevator doors close on him.

Once she was sure the elevator had closed, Eliza looked back and sighed. She was so angry. But luckily, the breeze at the rooftop seemed to be doing her good.

The moment Felix called her a vamp, she wanted to burst out and hit him. He knew nothing. Who was she to...? A teardrop rolled down her cheek and she wondered, if she wasn't born so 'perfect', would her life be just like every other girl who simply wanted to live out their dream?

"The view is nice." She simply said and rubbed her arms. The breeze was soothing but it was also too much and it was getting chilly.

Suddenly, someone put a jacket around her and she turned to see another one of those F4 jerks. It was Urie.

"It's pretty cold out here." He said, flashing a smile. "You shouldn't be here with such thin clothing." He said but she immediately took off the jacket and shoved it to his chest.

"I don't accept help from jerks acting like their some gentleman." She harshly said.

"Says the girl who did not hesitate to give out her middle finger." Urie said and she scoffed.

"What? Did that give you sleepless nights? Boohoo." She rolled her eyes.

"You're unique." He suddenly said, hoping to catch her attention and he did. But when she turned to look at him, she said,

"And you're a mean jerk who didn't find it too much to make fun of a girl." She spat out harshly and turned back to face the view.

"Ah, that kinda hurts." Urie claimed, with his hand on his chest. "But I don't blame you. We were the ones being jerks in the first place." He said but she did not respond. "Anyway, my name is Urie, of the F4."

He stretched out his hand for a handshake and Eliza turned to him.

"What, am I supposed to tell you my name?" She asked, coldly. "That's quite a bold action, don't you think? Considering what you four did to me."

"You're right." He took back his hand. "But it's not everyday you see a vamp who doesn't want to introduce herself to a cute guy like myself."

"Excuse me?" Now, she looked pissed. "This again? Vamp?" She took a step back. "You guys are incredibly unbelievable."

"Why, thank you." He smirked, taking her words as a compliment even when he knew it wasn't.

"How can you see a stranger and because she's all pretty and dolled up, you call her a vamp? Does that sound right to you?"

"It's the only explanation."

"What?!"

"Lady, when you come to Ze Ztar with such a body, what else are you supposed to be called?" He asked, scanning her from head to toe and she caught goosebumps. Not from the weather but rather from his creepy seductive gaze.

"You sound like a pervert." She claimed.

"What?" He exclaimed, shocked. Never in his life had he been called a pervert.

"Wow, it seems I struck a nerve." She grinned and he conceded.

"Alright. I called you a vamp and in return, you called me a pervert. I think we're even now." He said and she agreed.
