Chapter 6 - His name was Chase

The four of them looked at the lady in front of them and recognized her to be the lady of the previous day. But this time, she wasn't covered in mud or water.

Looking closely, she was quite the eye catcher. But what was she doing in their elevator?

'She is pretty but I don't like her attitude.' Felix thought.

Eliza clenched her fists.

'I promised myself I'd teach them a lesson the next time I see them.' She thought and then smirked with the perfect plan in mind. 'Let's see how you wonderboys get to your destination now.'

She sneakily pressed the elevator button while they were staring at her.

Just when they saw the elevator doors closing, she quickly gave them the middle finger with a proud grin.

"How'd you like that?"

Once the doors closed safely, Eliza heaved a sigh of relief and rested her back on the elevator walls. To think she'd run into them like that.

"I can't believe it." She said, "They're really the F4. But I can't tell Allison about this. I'll have to handle them myself."

She took off her glasses.

She finally shredded the honest and simple girl face and put on the tough girl front, ever ready to face anything.

Meanwhile, the F4 were dumbfounded at what just happened.

"I can't believe she used our elevator." Jellal said.

"I can't believe she gave us the middle finger." Urie added, looking vexed.

"I can't believe she's pretty." Pete chipped in, completely throwing aside that they were given the middle finger. "Compared to when she was covered in mud and water, she has quite a nice face."

'Who the hell is that girl?' Felix couldn't help but frown.

Eliza took out her phone and immediately called Allison.

"Yeah, what's up?" Allison answered in a low voice.

"I'm going home." Eliza announced.

"You didn't get in?"

"Sadly, I didn't. This means you win." She admitted and Allison's face lit up.

"That's perfect." She said and realised the situation. "Not that I'm excited about you not getting the job. You know that right? I'm just happy you'll be able to show how pretty you are."

"I understand." Eliza said and sighed. 'I really want to tell you about the F4 jerks I met just now but... ' she bit on her lip. "Alright, I'll see you at home."

"Won't you go out at least? Staying at home won't do you any good." Allison stated.

"Then I'll just go shopping. My wardrobe's filled with baggies anyway and since you won, I'll have to get something 'decent'." Eliza said and took off her glasses to rub her eye.

"Great. See you when I get back."

"Hm." She cut the call and sighed. She looked at her glasses. All that... And for what?

Eliza wasn't always like that. She didn't care about the fact that she was so pretty that she made guys walk into poles or salivate till their clothes were drenched. She was so confident and nonchalant to the attention and that was because she had a boyfriend.

His name was Chase. He was the only one who matched Eliza's high standard and was the school hunk.

Eliza liked him a lot. In fact, she'd do anything for him but in the end...

Their 'love' didn't last too long and she discovered him cheating. Why? Because he couldn't wait for her any longer. She kept to herself and only went as far as holding hands and kisses on the cheek. She didn't do more than that and a guy's got a lot of needs.

Not wanting to force it on her, Chase decided to sleep with someone else while he waited for her to be ready. He waited for so long only to get caught by her in the act so all his waiting was for naught and he said it to her face.

Having a pretty face and an excellent body wasn't everything. If she couldn't at least kiss him on the lips, what was the use? He was tired of waiting for her.

Eliza didn't get over this for over two months. She even had her mother transfer her to a different school. It was as unbearable as that.

Eliza sighed. She let that incident control her a lot and really, if not for Allison who stuck to her side and her emotionally supportive mother, she'd have completely broken down with that incident.

Once more, she looked at her glasses and smiled.

"Shopping it is." She got out of the elevator and made a rub for the stairs. She wasn't going to wait around to get caught by the Four jerks.

She left the building and quickly hailed a taxi. From there, she went to a nice boutique and bought so many things. She didn't try anything on and just picked out whatever caught her eyes in the right size.

She didn't think she'd wear all of them but she was in the mood to spend an extravagant sum of money so she did the boutique a favour.

And yes, Eliza came from a rich family so her pockets are always full.
