"After navigating the labyrinthine Salar-Bunz stairs. there each step seemed to carry a riddle. You may be asked to dance with the rhyme the staircase sang, or May be asked to answer a question to help you through missing stairs. They can easily trick you with hidden doors or some doors that lead to a different path on Saturdays. the Halflings emerged before the colossal Bridge of Bisection. Felix, new to Noxfordium, found himself entranced by the bridge's majestic presence, a sight withheld from him during his month of initiation, where mysteries were whispered but never unveiled. The bridge, a feat of architectural wonder, stood as a silent sentinel between the eastern and western wings of Noxfordium, its intricate design hinting at ancient secrets yet to be deciphered. As Felix's gaze lingered on the imposing structure, a sense of anticipation mingled with apprehension welled within him, for he knew that crossing this threshold would not only bridge physical divides but also unravel the enigmas that shrouded the heart of Noxfordium."
"It was made of heavy Blackstone of The Gurzor" reckon Aramond.
"What does heavy mean here mate?" Said Bob. "Rocks are meant to be heavy and heavy are they!"
"No, Bob! The weight, of late, was made to reside in these rocks. The rocks, that bear the weight of great—"
"great—? What?" asked Bob.
"Nothin'. " said Aramond.
"Okay now! Shall we move?" said Felix. "the elves are no more concerned about us as they left Bob back on ground.."
" we lose them?" said Bob
" A yes, and a no!" Said Aramond with hidden smile in his face.
" what no?" Said Didkins.
"I mean that though we did lose the Elves, we came to know that Bob was acting all way to get, probably, help from someone as he was too lazy a boy to walk."
"Acting! What did you say mate? Why do I do it?"
"The fact that you were standing on your own two legs from a while, probably, from a couple of minutes, will tell me that your legs are perfectly Okay!!"
"My two legs?— standing??—" he gave a jerk of realisation and fell down to knees again.
"Oh— it hurts! It hurts!" he started shouting.
"Enough of it.. you're caught!" Said Felix.
Everybody laughed.
"Now, look at the silly fate of ours.. we lost 'em" spoke wood looking at the bridge, standing his hands folded.
" The elves weren't bad creatures, atleast! Said Bob, giving a funny smile. He began marching towards the enormous bridge. The ceiling was not present on the top of river. The gap in the ceiling was tracing the river Youvan.
"dicha see dat? The architects of late only considered beauty." Said Bob, stopping at the tip of bridge.
"And I do not find a single mistake in it" said Wood.
" You're stinkin' like a fool" Said Bob. "what about the security? — the safety of the castle? Can't the enemies March straight in here?"
"I suppose you think about yourself as a genius don't you?. How can you think that the finest architects of the Indopea couldn't think what you can?". Said wood, forwarding to Bob.
"Ah—Ah! That's a point! — but every man makes mistake!" Said Bob, turning away from wood, looking at the red sky above.
"they are no mere humans. Nor a foolish Goblin like you!. They are the finest of Elves of Indopea. Those who master every craft, the Ather Elves." Said wood, even forwarding to face of Bob. "and donot suppose them to make any mistake!"
Bob fell silent, his mind empty of words as he once again found himself gazing upwards at the crimson-tinted sky. He watched as the swirling patterns formed shapes resembling a group of horsemen riding alongside a long, wooden vessel pulsating with immense energy, captivated by the mysterious spectacle unfolding before him.
"here, you all! Look at the sky! It seems like something, something's wreathed in red blood. Wreathed in fire— horses—men." He seemed as if he ran out of words.
Aramond hurriedly moved forward, forcefully pushing Wood aside. With a swift motion, he raised his gaze towards the sky, his expression weighed down by a deep intensity, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration, conveying a sense of gravity and determination.
"There's nothing of that sort here, Bob! Look once" Said Aramond.
"Are you serious! I saw 'em all wif' my own eyes!" exclaimed Bob, looking at sky again. Aramond, lowered his head slowly, looking back at his friends secretly, hiding his sights behind his shoulder. His eyes bore an un known expression. He was observing each of his friends.
"yes..! They're gone" said Bob.
" their job's done, my friend. They're meant to leave." Sai Aramond in a voice of mystery.
"Which job and who are they? They're mere clouds aren't they?" yelled Felix. In that moment, his fury reached an unprecedented level, manifesting physically as his face flushed crimson with rage. His breathing became labored, and he struggled to catch his breath, his mouth gaping open, revealing the parchedness of his throat from the intensity of his emotions. In a dramatic display of his inner turmoil, his wand slipped from his cloak, almost seeming to be propelled by some unseen force, emphasizing the magnitude of his anger.
Aramond's sharp gaze caught the sudden falter in Felix's step, and he swiftly rushed to his side just as Felix teetered on the brink of losing his balance. With a firm grip on Felix's shoulder, Aramond's hands registered an intense heat, the feverish warmth emanating from Felix's body unmistakable. As Aramond steadied him, the searing temperature of Felix's skin hinted at an internal fire burning within him, contrasting sharply with the chill of the surrounding air, leaving Aramond momentarily taken aback by the palpable heat radiating from his friend's feverish form.
"felix, what happened?" said Aramond.
Felix remained unresponsive, his once vibrant eyes now taking on a disturbingly greyish hue, glinting with an otherworldly shine reminiscent of mercury. Aramond, taken aback by this unsettling transformation, felt a chill run down his spine. His expression twisted momentarily, betraying a hint of primal instincts fighting to break free, a fleeting glimpse of werewolf-like features flickering across his face before he forcibly reined them in. Aramond reluctantly released his grip and instinctively stepped back.
Meanwhile, Bob stood transfixed from a distance, his gaze fixed upon the unfolding scene near the bridge. He alone bore witness to the unsettling transformation of Aramond. his mind reeling with shock and disbelief at the surreal sight before him. Unable to comprehend the mysterious forces at play, Bob could only watch in stunned silence as the events unfolded before him, his heart pounding with a mixture of fear and curiosity.
As Felix's friends gathered around him, their faces etched with concern and confusion over his sudden transformation, Bob stood among them, his heart pounding with a mixture of shock and disbelief. While the others focused on Felix's condition, Bob's gaze remained fixed on Aramond, the truth of his villainous identity finally laid bare before him. Paralyzed by the weight of this revelation, Bob struggled to find his voice amidst the whirlwind of emotions swirling within him. As Aramond retreated, a cold dread settled over Bob, his mind racing with the implications of what he had just discovered. In that moment of stunned silence, Bob grappled with the unsettling realization that their trusted companion had been hiding a dangerous secret, one that could shatter the fragile balance of their friendship and forever alter the course of their lives..
