Upon hearing Barry's words, the others fell into a contemplative silence, allowing the sudden gusts of wind from outside to play a symphony with various objects.
Because they feel too tired, their brains cannot work optimally. When they wanted to think about what Barry said, lots of disturbing noises and images of terrifyingly powerful monsters they had to defeat filled their minds.
The others found their thoughts scattered, unable to coalesce into coherent patterns.
"I don't know." Danny shook his head. "That might be true. There are two forces fighting each other. But why should we get involved?"
There was a deep frown on Barry's face. If the two forces really destroy each other, they should just fight and destroy each other.
If as a result of their fight the world will be destroyed, then the world should just be destroyed like that. Without them – humans – can do anything.
