The guardian roared again, this time much louder than before. After that, it stared at the survivors, people who dared to disturb it.
The tree guardian knew that their purpose in attacking him was only one, and that is to take the artifact that it must protect. So without bothering to do anything else, the tree immediately began its own retaliatory attack.
But the simultaneous attacks that hit it were very strong, causing many parts of its body to be destroyed. The damage suffered by the tree guardian was already quite severe.
"It is wounded. Our attacks are working," Seraphina said, her eyes still staring upwards at the giant tree looming over them.
