The fire serpents shot towards them with terrifying speed. But Seraphiel immediately extended her hand, instantly dispersing all the fire serpents in front of them. They turned into ash and vanished at once.
"Arizen! Stop it!" Seraphiel called out. "We did not come here to fight!"
"Oh, is that you, Seraphiel? The blonde bitch never learns," the same voice that had shouted earlier echoed again. "The last time it was a draw. But right now, I will make sure you kneel under my heels!"
Seraphiel sighed with clenched jaw. Beside her, Hael was already gearing up to step forward first upon hearing her master being mocked like that.
But Seraphiel quickly raised her hand, stopping her next move. "I got this," she said calmly.
Hearing that, Hael reluctantly nodded her head. Though her jaw remained tight and anger still clearly emanated from her eyes. The Demon's words still echoed in her head.
