It didn't take long for Protection to respond to his call. Barry didn't waste any time and immediately said what he wanted to say.
When he heard that, Protection didn't immediately respond as it had before. Barry could tell from its head and body movements that it was deeply contemplating something.
Barry realized that the humanoid form made up of white light, Protection, looked a lot dimmer than Barry had previously seen. As if Its energy of life is depleting for some reason he doesn't know.
When Barry tries to ask It, Protection gives a worrying answer.
"I am indeed getting weaker."
Hearing that, Barry felt fear grip his heart. Based on what he saw and experienced over the past few days, he saw that Destruction is getting stronger. Or at least he shows more of his power than before.
But on the other side it turns out that Protection is getting weaker as well.
