JONEL POV
A total of six guilds gathered in front of the dungeon, consisting of 176 people.
This dungeon has no particular smell i thought, not like other where i used to work.
"All guilds will conduct an expedition leader voting!" In the crowd, the speaker's voice resonated. He identified himself as one of the six leaders, Tesla Young from the UK, and the leader of FRATERNITY GUILD, specializing in swordsmen or melee attacks.
"The
When Carl mentioned this, Anna, Carl, and Layla all looked at me.
"Wait, don't look at me like that. I have a lot of experience, but it's all on the lower floors. Up to level 20 is the highest I've been, and I'm just a porter."
*In the background, an announcement was heard, "Fraternity guild!" The members erupted into cheers. The announcer continued, "Glory of Light!"
"Carl, where is Carl?" I found myself isolated even though I was next to all the members. As I was about to walk towards the group, they all looked at the speaker in front... talking... to our way...
suddenly elina massaging my hands, and my shoulder. i will not talk but i like it.
"Are you teaching me? But I'm not…" I looked behind me, realizing there was no one there; I was at the end of the formation... so it was my way?
"You come here!" A creepy laugh emerged, and I found Elina at my side.
"W-what?!" Elina raised my hand. "Come to the front!" this is why you are massaging me...
What should I do? "You have been voted by the team, which means they have confidence in you. Come here, and let us begin to enter."
The leader polling ended, and we stood in front of the chosen ones. "Please step forward when you are called," announced the man who enhanced the voice.
"More like he was a Command Army. And us, the command platoon," I thought as the voice of the announcer, magically enhanced, continued. "On behalf of the leader, they will command the members. Freemason Guild, Eko Wirawan from Indonesia, and the vice leader, will provide the tanking role. Next is the guild FRATERNITY, Albert Trembley from Canada and the vice leader. They will provide for melee attacks."
[List of my Troops] I held the names of the members for whom I would be responsible during the expedition.
1. Caleb Nightshade – craftsman – general type
2. Owen Stonehammer - Blacksmith
3. Logan Stormrider - Stormcaller
4. Felix Emberforge - Artificer
5. Stella Frostwhisper - Frost Shaman
6. Jackson Stonecloak - Earth Warden
7. Grace Swiftwind – brawler
8. Ethan Fireheart - Fire Elementalist
9. Elina Brown – Scout
10. Layla Abril – Priest
11. Carl Armstrong - Hero
12. Edna Swift - Cook
13. Sophia Frost – craftsman item
14. Anna Murphy - Elemental mage
15. Jonel Cunanan – Craftsman general
No matter what, I thought, Carl is here. I looked at him.
"Who is the leader on the other side?"
"Him!" Elijah Silverarrow, a Ranger. He didn't talk to me much, but I knew him.
"Is that legal?"
"Yes, why not?"
"Because you are the leader?"
"Leader? I'm not. Our guild has no leader."
I realized I had just assumed it. The formation began, and while I
FREEMASON at the front, FRATERNITY behind them, followed by OPUS DEI as Archers, ILLUMINATI, WORKERS, and GLORY OF LIGHT at the rear.
"LET'S GO!" said the man who always spoke. "OOOOHHH!" The guilds cried out as we marched.
"Aren't we walking fast?" It felt like we were jogging!

JONEL POV
We are inside the 1st-floor basement, steadily descending deeper and deeper towards its end. Monsters corpse are everywhere, with Monster Slimes the size of car wheels appearing almost every 5 meters. consistently
"All on the front, doing it like hit-and-run; these monsters are really tough but crush by the tanks and swordsman," I hear Elina, Layla, and others talking.
But I can't afford distractions in this dungeon; I've learned that I must stay focused, or invisible threats like werewolves might attack.
"Bauuuurrrgh!" I suddenly feel the urge to puke. Every time I walk to the entrance of the dungeon, this always happens, but when I get to the second floor, I don't feel anything like this.
The other guild and half of Glory of Light are left behind; they are far, but I can't help it.
"heal !" Layla cast heal, but it was nothing... it was not anything but mental trauma, i know i can't help it.
"hup-ya!" Carl lifts me like a sack of rice. It's the easiest and most convenient way. Within half a day, our expedition finishes three floors.
"That was so freaking fast!" I exclaims.
On the 4th floor, everyone is resting.
"Why only slimes as monsters?" i don't know too.
"This dungeon has 50 floors; this in that... yada-yada..." "Blah-blah-blah..." We can hear other guilds laughing and talking loudly.
We find half of Glory of Light resting, and we are going to merge with them. Suddenly, we bump into the Illuminati Group, and they block our path, the same number as us.
probably they are more.
"Fireball!" One of them makes us explode with magic. "Water ball!" Anna counters it. "Smoke!"
Smoke engulfs me and the enemy. I immediately use the cloak skill:
I don't care where I hit them; if they move the slightest bit, I throw stones. I've been training with the guildmaster for a long time.
"Yes, I didn't even ask the guild master's name; as long as it was guild master."
"Arhhh!" x6
Six people writhe inside the smoke. I throw all the daggers I have. I'm not afraid of them; their levels are around 10, and the highest is 20.
"It's better to kill than to die." I use items with my skill, surprising them, as item skills are considered rare. But I have others.
"Wind cutter!" Anna pushes the smoke, but it keeps adding more.
"Someone use smoke magic!" shouts Anna. "Help my partner attack the Illuminati guild!" Our colleagues call other members from the guild and Glory of Light.
The crowd grows as the smoke thickens; the enemies disappear. Before the smoke clears, the effect of the skill is gone. What can they do if they can't see me in the smoke, and I still have an ambush skill?
"When the smoke is gone, it's gone; I'm alone."
"Are you okay?" I notice that the others are missing.
i feel something bad...
"Where are they, Carl?" They're truly gone; everyone who was with me is missing...
BOOOOOM! An explosion echoes in the middle of the group.
It was the camp of the Illuminati Guild...
When we arrive, Carl already been held by has
"Don't try to do it again. Your outcome won't be good," Carl warns. Is he serious? His class is a hero, but he's not like a hero, a villain.
"Are you okay? Any damage?" carl as me.
"no damage."
"We're leaving here. It's hard to backstab." When we gather in our camp, 15 people surround us, not more than 20. We couldn't hear, but they were saying something. We wait to see what they will do, 40 meters away.
"Teleport!" Thirty members light up our bodies and disappear.
"Let's see your arrogance! Glory of light" said by the one who is look like a leader of the casters.

JONEL POV
"Are we here?"
[Floor 27 Mid-dungeon.]
"Not allowed! Wahhh!"
"Ugh..."
Some couldn't hold back their tears, and some remained silent, and so on...
"Uwahhh... why are we here, uwahhhh... we're going to die for sure?" a girl, a craftsman specializing in items, was already crying in our situation.
Our group is included in the expedition to cover general types in the group—craftsmen, long-range, melee, and others. If no other guild can focus, we will be the ones to work but why are we in this situation like we are the one who's ganna complete this dungeon.
"But why are we here?" Layla asked.
They are hugged each other in fear; but why Anna hugged me!?
But I observed the other members when they finished crying and we left...
"We can get out of here; trust me." Carl calmed everyone down; this is the hero. Not what I saw when he rushed to the ILLUMINATI.
"Get ready; we need formation."
No matter what happens, Carl can think clearly. Anna crying in the corner... but why she looking at me and crying again when i look at her. wtfreak?
None of us have ever experienced going beyond the 20th basement floor level.
Who are those people? I do suspect if it's the Illuminati guild.
I adjusted our position, form party!
Four melee members and one scout in the back, and six in the front, melee and two scouts in the middle. All the remaining 17 people, ranged or support, are in the middle.
"We'll climb back up!"
In no time, carl took out one torch each that would last for two days.
"This is what I learned; bring something like this," Carl told me.
"We are going to level 26," I shouted, feeling their trust in me as the leader they hired.
Poshhhhhhhhhiiiiii!!!!!*** like screeching tire but comebine to air pump machine on that was accidentally switch on... We are listening while walking... maybe it was just sound trap magic.
No, we were paying attention to those sounds, but they were increasing, and we noticed that there were many web spiders. And when something fell…
"Posssssshiii!" 20+ sfx spider
"There are so many of them!"
"Kill them!" This is what I immediately shouted without thinking.
"Don't use a skill if you can kill it physically; we might have a boss fight on floor 25!"
if anyone was bitten no antidote, but no one dead from the spider that fell so many! i almost pee myself but not as the warewolf shadow.
"Good, no one got bitten or something."
Because if someone is bitten, they die without an antidote for spiders, but you can...
"Ahhh" I forgot we have three priests.
I asked them, and all three of them had an antidote with them. This is where I got stronger, even though we were getting a little aggressive. If we don't run out of food before we reach floor 15.
"So many spiders!" they said, but their fear is somewhat gone, and everyone feel they can survive the monsters. What we are afraid of is that floor 25 might have a boss monster.
"I'm tired!" This is what we've been saying; we've been walking for almost four hours? Or not. We don't know, but we are tired.
At the end of the room, we saw the stairs at the end of the hallway, but there were a lot of web spiders!
"Mage! Use fire!"
When I pointed out, they immediately followed the order. But heat of the fire comes back to us like the wind, but we lay low to avoid the smoke. We didn't move because if a spider fell while we were crawling, it would just bite someone.
"That's it, the monsters are gone!"
You can see all their smiles! as everyone walk to the stair.
"Let's rest first."
This is what I said to my companions; the stairs are the neutral area in dungeons; no one will cross, and monsters will go to the stairs because it is a restricted area for monsters, maybe...
We slept on the stairs; some people brought pillows and blankets, including me, who brought them. I also have a bed, but I didn't take it out because I don't want to have an issue that would make me look bad. Cause I don't want anyone to sleep in my bed.
