In the tranquil and undisturbed ambiance, time seemed to have paused.
After a short pause...
The death sovereign opened her eyes and announced, "You're fortunate. They are all still alive, including your parents!"
As she spoke, she wielded her Main God power…
Lin En exhaled deeply, feeling a great burden lift from his heart, a sense of profound relief and tranquility enveloping him.
He experienced a soul-deep trembling, rippling like waves on water.
Although Water System Lin En's avatar couldn't cultivate or comprehend other laws and rules, their memories were linked.
The Violet Plane.
Lin En's destiny Main God avatar seized this moment, closing his eyes to deeply understand and deduce the laws of fate. The revival of his departed family was a critical juncture in his fate, capable of leaving a profound imprint in his soul's depths.
Lin En displayed an awkward smile.
Among Main Gods, a tenfold power disparity isn't necessarily lethal!
Unable to win, escaping remained an option!
Following this insight, the destiny Main God avatar's power advanced, akin to the fusion of four mysterious laws.
"Father!"
Death... the undead realm... battles... devouring...
A black-purple cloud approached, grey tendrils like vines reaching out, precisely grabbing several undead...
Lin En's relatives, with their memories restored, were filled with fear. In such a realm, no one was safe from being devoured by other undead or completely annihilated in battles.
Lin En's momentary lapse didn't raise suspicion in the death sovereign, who showed a teasing smile, "Fine, but you owe me another favor!"
The Violet Plane.
"Thank you, my lord!"
Yin Weina was astonished, as the death sovereign had never allowed outsiders to stay in her palace, especially so many at once.
Lin En, about to politely decline, paused, reconsidering. He then telepathically communicated, "That would be acceptable, but I ask you, my lord, to intervene if any mid-tier Main God interferes."
Lin En reminisced...
The death sovereign initially looked surprised, then quickly processed the situation, her eyes gleaming with intent, "You're quite daring!"
Abruptly, fierce winds arose in the sky.
A tremendous pressure paused the raging battle, forcing the armies to kneel on the ground, shivering, unable to lift their heads.
Lin En embraced her, feeling a familial bond.
The death sovereign watched him with a half-smile.
"Hmph, you're quite the strategist."
Lin En and his slightly bewildered relatives were allocated rooms. As they gathered and learned of Lin En's current status, they were all astounded.
The death sovereign spoke softly.
Inside the death sovereign's palace.
"You… you're… Lin En!?"
They had been ordinary in life, the strongest only at level six. After their death and resurrection, realizing that Lin En was now a Main God...
This was indeed...
Lin En gazed at one of the middle-aged men, emotion welling up, instinctively calling out. This roused everyone, their faces reflecting surprise and joy.
"Be grateful to me. These undead hadn't reached the Saint realm. They wouldn't survive outside the undead realm. I've enhanced their souls to the Saint level."
Lin En was sincerely thankful, then hesitantly asked, "Could you, my lord, assist in transporting them to the planar teleportation array?"
Then, Lin En spoke words that caught the death sovereign off guard.
The death sovereign didn't delve deeper, instead turning to the silver-haired snake woman beside her, instructing, "Yin Weina, arrange rooms for them right here!"
It's hard to truly know someone just by appearance.
Both were mid-tier Main Gods, and Lin En had little interaction with them at the Main God gathering, making it difficult to discern their true intentions.
Lin En shook his head, "Owing too many favors isn't good."
Right?
After all, he was being compared to the formidable destiny Main God.
In the Realm of the Dead, Northern Plains.
The Ghostly Main God, Osiris.
The death sovereign, powerful as she was, wouldn't just protect a mid-tier Main God without cause. This lucky individual from the material plane didn't have such clout.
Their following conversations were through telepathy, so no one else knew their contents.
Lin En knew better than to speculate, assuming all mid-tier Main Gods might be after him. Staying away was the safest option!
At this stage, the battle for faith among Main Gods was fierce, indicating many hadn't reached their full strength yet!
…
"Main God, please come this way."
Lin En explained reluctantly, "I don't have a metal life form. It's not convenient to bring too many people at once."
The battlefield was ablaze with conflict, featuring black knights and black mages at the peak of the Saint realm leading vast undead armies in a deafening clash.
For Lin En, a novice mid-tier Main God, he was an enticing target!
Unknown to others, his level of rule comprehension was equivalent to the fusion of several mystical laws – whether it was a three-fusion, two-fusion, or zero-fusion!
The disparity in will and power within Main God powers can vary a hundredfold!
Theoretically, a lower-tier Main God who had merged three or four mysteries could defeat a zero or two-fusion mid-tier Main God!
"…" The death sovereign.
The Bone Main God, Kursk.
As a Main God, Lin En truly lacked many things!
Father and son embraced, while a young woman nearby watched them, emotionally stirred, almost fearful it was a dream.
"Then let your Main God avatar come."
The red-haired girl appeared a bit baffled, seemingly thinking, "You have the nerve to ask?"
Just moments ago...
"Tsk, you and Off are similar, both appearing innocent but dark at heart."
The Underworld has a single vast continent, larger than the combined five continents of Hell. Divided by the Mountain of the Dead, the north is filled with countless undead, the Realm of the Dead, where the strongest beings are generally at the Saint realm. Only upon ascending to godhood do they regain their memories. The south is the true Underworld.
"Yes, master."
"Mother!"
This pace was already swift, considering his shallow foundation. Without his ascension to Main Godhood and the transformation of his soul, such progress would have been impossible!
But with only seventy-seven Main God powers in existence, emulation by other deities was unfeasible.
The death sovereign commented with a click of her tongue.
Undead auras lingered as figures emerged, their expressions bewildered, as if struggling to differentiate between reality and a long slumber's dream.
"Wait for me for a thousand years, prepare accordingly."
Lin En, unfazed, telepathically conveyed a nonchalant mood, "Fate is unpredictable, a single thought leading to countless paths. Since intervention might happen, I must assume it will!"
The sky darkened, the blood moon overhead.
Lin En smiled, not surprised at being read so easily. Anyone capable of ascending to godhood on their own was intelligent, especially a Main God, and certainly the death sovereign, the first being of the Underworld!
The death sovereign suddenly smiled playfully, "So, you're sure that either Bone or Ghost will act?"
This moment was beyond words and descriptions!
"Why wait a thousand years to return?"
His father was the first to regain composure, asking with a hint of curiosity.
Lin En naturally wouldn't reveal the full truth, to avoid causing them worry, given the complexity of Main God conflicts compared to ordinary lives.
Hearing the question, Lin En quickly conjured a suitable excuse. With a warm smile, he explained, "The environment of the Underworld is more conducive for cultivation. Besides, I have some matters to attend to with the death sovereign, so I'm currently unavailable."
