"Who?" David asked Jane.
"Who else but my family members," Jane replied with a wry smile.
When talking about them, she seemed to feel tired.
David suspected that she might not be able to completely shut her family up about their relationship.
Maybe she managed to suppress some of them, but after a few days, they were back in action.
David held Jane's hand, trying to calm her feelings.
"Now that I'm much stronger, this kind of problem won't make me retreat or fear. I will face the enemies that come until they realize that there are great consequences for fighting me," he said.
Jane nodded lightly at that, smiling slightly.
Not long after, the lecturer finally came into the classroom. Even he was somewhat surprised when he saw David.
However, he chose not to say anything about David's absence for almost a week.
