David followed Mery up the stairs to the second floor.
Neither of Mery's parents realized that Mery had walked away. They were still too busy with the video they were watching.
Their shock seemed to have caused them to develop hypertension, though not a stroke.
"They're annoying, aren't they?" Mery said to David while glancing down.
David just laughed softly in response while following her gaze.
After that, he said in a joking tone, "to be honest, your mother is very beautiful. Does she always wear such traditional clothes?"
David's question made Mery's eyes widen.
She even nudged David's shoulder with her elbow.
"Don't think of anything crazy," she said.
"What if I want that crazy thing?" David replied with a smirk.
This woman kept saying that she was following Erza's orders to do what he wanted. Now that he wanted her mother, would she still help?
