"It's just, David, are you from Paris or some other city?" asked Owen, getting interested in David's origins.
"I'm originally from this city," David replied.
"Are you confused as to why you didn't recognize me before this?" David asked after he answered.
Owen's thoughts were easy to guess because usually rich people consisting of a few people knew each other if they were from the same town.
Owen probably doubted whether David was from a rich family or not since he didn't know him. Unless he was too rich to be seen by a rich person like him.
Asked by David, Owen cleared his throat, looking awkward.
"It's only natural that you don't know me because I'm just an ordinary person, don't even have parents, only relying on my older sister who just managed to become a lecturer," David continued, having no problem telling this.
His words naturally made Owen and Luna's expressions strange.
