The padlock opened as Alice turned the key.
When the lock was removed, the door opened slightly, as if it wasn't perfectly closed.
There was light emanating from the crack of the door, sharp enough to make David's eyes hurt a little when he saw it.
Alice then pulled on the door, making it open slowly.
However, the opening of the door only made the light emanating from it even sharper. David couldn't see inside the door.
Even his eyes went dark for a while.
"Come on in," Alice said.
She pulled David's hand, stepping into the door before David's vision became clear.
After passing through the door, David's vision finally became quite clear.
He found a luxurious room with fancy lights hanging on the walls.
It was more like a palace hall, there was even a throne. It was red in color, having a luxurious design with a domineering style. The owner was probably a very proud figure.
