With the sadness that presided in Neya's heart and those words that kept ringing through her mind"You mean nothing to me!" She had looked into Nahor's eyes as he had said those words. There was no such thing as emotion as he spoke. "Didn't he at least feel any thing when he spoke those words?"she asked herself. She wondered how a person could be so emotionless as they spoke. She hadn't ever met anyone like Nahor and she hoped she didn't met anyone like him ever again. She wondered why Nahor was so rude to her yet everyone in the palace was so nice to her.She was now scared ever since she looked into Nahor's eyes. She swore she would never look into them again. The scene that she saw almost scared her to death. She could not take it out of her mind. It was like she was staring into the very pool of hell. His eyes scared her. She could not find anything else that she was scared of to compare to Nahor's eyes. If she was scared just at the mere look into his eyes. Then she was completely terrified of the Nahor himself. Nahor was not all that friendly and he was not going to be to a person whom he had just met.l
The complete distance between them wasn't because of the lack of cooperation or the fact that they didn't love each other . But all this was due to the outcome of their marriage arrangement that was a bit complicated.
Neya then remembered how it had all began.
Neya's life that is to say her child hood and teen years were with her old grandma in her small village. She never knew anything about her parents and everytime she asked about them her grandma would tell her that it wasn't necessary for her to know about them then. It was very obvious that her grandma did not want to tell her the truth about her parents. Why would she. It would ruin the whole plan.
During her childhood she was very different from the rest of her friends. Not just different but completely different. In the way she talked moved. Let's just say her behavior was completely different from the rest of the people who were around her. So the people's preference was to avoid her. She grew up so lonely but the ever presence of her old grandma who was always there by her side when she needed her the most kept her going.
It wasn't any easy or better for her when she grew older. She never had any one who could truly understand her. She thought it would be better for her when she at least became an adult but things turned out worse.
She had tried getting information about her parents but it was all a total fail. She just could not find a single clue to their whereabouts.
So one day as usual when she was so fed up with all the stress, she would decide to take a short walk into the woods. But she never expected that that day would turn out so different.
She thought about all the experiences that she had gone through in her life. Now that she was an adult, she had to find a solution. She was trying to come up with one but all of them were not suitable enough.
Little did she know that on that day she was trying to find a way to solve all the challenges in her life would be the day she would land in to a trouble situation. She was suddenly kidnapped. To her everything happened so fast. She could only remember hearing a noise from behind and when she had looked up she saw two mysterious men flying in the air.
This really was shocking to her because she believed that it was impossible for anyone to do that. She didn't believe in magic. She thought that it was just a trick but when she looked closer everything seemed so real. She believed that she was dreaming but she was not quite sure of that. To prove whether she was right or not. She pinched herself. And it hurt. She was wrong. She was not dreaming. Then if she was not dreaming. It was all real. This was no joke. It was serious. She had to get help because she feared that she might be in danger.
So the only thing she could do at that time was to run. What else could she do. She wouldn't just stand there to chat with two flying strangers. But as she ran, the two men continued following her .She tried increasing her speed but it was all useless. They kept catching up on her. The only thing on her mind was to run and survive. If she didn't run. She knew she would not be sure of her fate. She didn't know what those men wereand what they wanted from her but she sure wasn't going to stay to find out.She ran as fast as she could without looking back. Run run..if you want to survive. "She kept repeating those words. She ran faster but she suddenly slipped and fell. As she tried getting up the two mysterious men had already cornered her . "You can't run forever, can you,"one of them mocked her.
She then asked them who they were but they didn't reply. Then one of the men whispered to the other"Don't you think she is suitable for the job?"Then the other one just nodded his head in approval.
In a blink of the eye she was blacked out by the mysterious smoke that appeared to be making her lose her consciousness slowly. It seemed like it had been created by the mysterious men.
Then Neya fell unconscious .Then one of the men got grab of her before she could hit the ground. He then said,"Now we can go."
So they suddenly disappeared with Neya
