"I respect your decision," Alan nodded, then turned to Flora.
At that moment, the bracelet Flora always wore on her wrist emitted a glow.
Flora's expression changed slightly as she pressed the bracelet to her ear.
After a few breaths, she looked at Alan, "There's trouble with my people. I need to go back."
"I'll go with you," Alan immediately responded. He had come to accept them as his companions and naturally wouldn't abandon her now.
"Okay," Flora hesitated for a moment before nodding in agreement.
"I'll come with you too," Lina instinctively said.
"There's no need. It's not an urgent matter, and you should do what you're meant to do," Flora said, reaching out to adjust Lina's hair and smiling.
Lina's eyes betrayed a sense of reluctance, but after a glance at Alan, she nodded.
She trusted Alan unconditionally to help Flora with her people's issues.
"I'll come back to visit you," Flora promised.
