"Isn't it just drinking?" Alan pointed to the wine cup on the table.
The burly man was slightly taken aback, not expecting Alan to take his words so literally.
This made him find the situation amusing and he couldn't help but mock Alan's naivety.
"No problem, I'll pour you a drink," the burly man said with a smile.
He picked up the wine bottle and poured a glass of wine.
Then, he took out a paper packet from his pocket and, in front of everyone including Alan, sprinkled some brown powder into it before placing the wine cup in front of Alan.
Alan looked at the wine cup in front of him and then at the burly man.
Blinking, he smiled and said, "If I'm not mistaken, that's a kind of powder made from thorn juice, which can cause unconsciousness."
Hearing this, the burly man and his companions were slightly startled, not expecting Alan to guess the nature of the powder.
However, they did not feel guilty.
