Chapter 38 - Chapter38-Alan's Ennoblement

Soon, a meeting to commend Alan and his paladins was convened. 

As the leader of Rivenland, Queen Agatha spoke first. 

Below, the assembly of nobles looked at Alan, standing beside the queen, with complex expressions.

In their eyes, Alan was undoubtedly an outsider. 

He and his Beaconburg paladins had not previously had a good relationship with Rivenland. 

But now, Alan and his paladins had become the heroes who saved Rivenland.

"Let us pay our highest respects to the great hero, the follower of the God of Light, the Almighty God, and the paladins of Beaconburg!" she announced. "Let us applaud their immortal feat of defeating the reawakened consciousness of the dark god!"

As the queen concluded her speech, the other nobles began to applaud. 

Alan surveyed the crowd below. 

Their expressions seemed somewhat strained, with many openly displaying discomfort, particularly those from the Flower Church and Moon Goddess Sect.
