Boss it's your brother Adrian who is behind it, although he just wanted to scare mr Johnson from signing the contract with us. Unfortunately it did not go as planned. Thankfully Mr Johnson did not sustain any major injuries.

With a nod Josh left me alone with my thoughts.
We've been together for so long and he knows me very well, he knows i need some time with my thoughts.
Adrian is my brother from another mother.
My family is complicated. Though i'm the one managing Archer corp, my position is not set in stone. Every now and then temptation is being sent my way, all in an attempt to discredit me and make me give up my position.
I think i've been too quiet, it seems they've forgotten who they are dealing with.

Looking at Zee's message i couldn't help but smile.
Walking outside to the courtyard, i saw the boys trianing.

Where to? asked Josh as he came to walk beside me.
To Tove's condo.
I went with Josh in his car while Sam drove in front of us.
We got to Tove's condo and i rang the doorbell.
Tove opened the door, but it was Zee that pulled me in a hug.
Such a scaredy cat, i said mentally as i pat him to assure him i'm okay.
By the look of things, he did not mention anything to Tove. Good that is very good.
Oh please enough with the show of love already will you? asked Josh mockingly.

I'm fine Zee; i said walking to one of the cushion and sitting down. Everyone sat down as well.

Well Ian, i want Vee to be out of the public eye until she picks a movie she wants to be in and audition for it. I've already told the company not to say anything concerning Vee's situation until she gets a role.
Okay, that's good. I thought you also have an ad for her?
Yes i do, it's in a few days time and i've already told everyone involved, which happen to be the camera crew and make up artist since it's just a photoshoot. I've told them to keep everything to themselves.
So what will you both be doing till then?
Just stay indoors?
I was thinking of going through the different projects and finding one that i might be interested in; said Tove.

Well, since Josh and I are here, we can lend our insight on the issue.
We started going through the list of movie projects we have.
Guys i think i've read a book similar to this; said Tove raising a script.
In fact, the book is my current favorite i liteally know some of the words by heart.
So, do you want to audition for it?

The role of the lead actress.
That's really bold of you Tove, however this is a story about a woman shunned by love, disgraced, humilated and left to die. It is about her fighting from the bottom all the way to the top and killing everyone who wronged her in anyway. This is really dark and sad. Are you sure this is something you want to do?

Well i know the writer of the book and in fact she is also the casting director.
The book is a bestseller and very popular. I'm sure the movie will be a hit too.
Vee if this is the one you want, that's fine by me.

That's because i am Ian, like i said i really enjoyed reading the book.
Just because you love the story does not mean you can actually act the story Vee; said Josh.
I just confirmed the audition day is two days after the photoshoot so the timing is just right, Zee announced walking in.

I do understand what you are trying to say Josh but believe me i really can do this.
Why not act a scene for us then, i mean we are here to help you. So why not do a test run for us.
I looked at Josh, i know he is testing me to see if truly they are not wasting their time with me. I smiled, it's really nice to see someone for a change putting me on the spot.
Which scene do you want me to act?
None of us here has read the book Vee so why don't you pick a scene and act it for us.
Looking at Ian and Zee's face, i could feel their support.
Walking to the middle of the room i looked at the three of them sitting together watching me.
I picked the script and opened a page. I handed the page over to Josh to indicate the scene i will be acting, i wached as they all glanced through the script to get a gist of what's about to happen.
Blocking off my surrounding, i replaced myself with the female lead. The scene i'm about to act is the scene where the female lead lost her baby through miscarriage. She was raped by her lover and his friends and then was taken as a mistress by her lovers father who was the leader of her tribe. Despite being taken as her lovers father's mistress her lover and his friends still continued to rape her. She eventually became pregnant not knowing who among them all is responsible for her pregnancy. Despite the pain and hatred she felt for her situation, she couldn't bring herself to terminate the pregnancy. She decided to keep the pregnancy and found joy, hope and peace in the prospect of being a mother.
One night after being raped brutally by her lovers father who has the tendency of being rough while having sex, she was on her way to her lodge when the pain on her stomach intensified and she started bleeding. No one knew she was pregnant then, except her for the pregnancy was just three months old and was not yet noticeable.
Seeing the blood flowing down her legs and understanding what was going on, she fell on the lonely dusty road. And let out her pain.
I placed myself in her situation and took her pain as mine. Remembering also the story Zee told me earlier i started acting.
I fell on the floor looking at them but not seeing them. My eyes became lifeless.
I touched my legs as if touching the blood flowing out of me as tears fell of my eyes in droplets.
I let out a single scream that was filled with pain, anger, grief, frustration, sadness and lose.
Then i started laughing hysterically while pretending to rub the blood back to my body as if it will form the child again.
Then suddenly as if realizing that no matter what i do nothing will change what has happened i stopped and passed out.
I rose from the ground and dust off myself as i returned to normal. I looked at my audience to find Zee crying and Josh and Ian whispering.
Oh Vee that was heart wrenching said Zee hugging me.
Chills that's what i have watching Tove act out the scene.
I'm glad i always support your insticnt, true i did not see what you saw when you insisted on having her on board again but i'm glad i agreed with you. Absolutely no one can top this, she literally brought the character to life and she did it without even saying a word; Josh whispered to me.
Are you alright? i asked Tove.
I'm fine Ian. I'm an actress remember this is what i do.
Of cos i said in a funny way making everyone laugh. Good the gloom is lifted.
That was incredible Tove and i'm sure the casting director and the entire production team will think so too.
