Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Are you into me?

Eranthe pushed him away, her hands clenched into fists.

Colin's suggestive remarks were too strong, but She couldn't understand why Colin, who had experienced the casual relationships with so many women, would be entangled with her. Why her?

Things seemed to have become a little bit complicated. Colin was just a tool she used to counter Dylan, and she really hadn't thought about any further development with him. But the current reality was that she had provoked Colin, a mysterious and formidable figure, and now she couldn't shake him off!

Frank watched coldly from the side, not intending to intervene.

Seeing that things were getting out of hand, someone stood up and said, "Mr. Rodriguez and Mr. Wilson, we have some urgent matters to attend to in our company. We'll leave first."

Seeing Colin's lack of response, they all got up to leave.

"Where are you going?" Colin stopped them, lit a cigarette, and said, "We've ordered so many good drinks. It's a waste not to drink them out."

"Ok, yes, we'll finish the drinks. Today's expenses will be on us."

Eranthe, at this moment, couldn't care about these people coming over to toast. Colin's hand landed on her waist again, caressing the thin layer of fabric.

As adults, pretending ignorance in such a clear situation would be meaningless.

"I didn't expect you to be so satisfied with me, but let's not mention such things in front of others in the future, right?"

Colin looked at her with a smirk.

Everyone is still present; how can he speak to her so openly?

"Pa!" With a loud sound, Eranthe felt like the thread called SENSE in her mind had been completely broken.

This made her feel extremely embarrassed and want to bury her head in the ground immediately.

"I... I was just talking nonsense earlier."

The man's gaze instantly darkened. "Nonsense?"

Eranthe was startled and almost bit her tongue. "It's not what you think."

"Have you thought about me in these seven days?" Colin didn't continue the previous topic; whether it was nonsense or not, he would make her prove it to himself.

Eranthe didn't answer. When would she have the time to think? Besides, she hadn't heard of any one-night stand partner constantly obsessing over it afterward. There couldn't be any follow-up.

"I did think about you. You sound... very pleasant."

Eranthe thought this man was really something poisonous. What was clearly a normal statement was turned by him into something full of sensuality.

The crowd lowered their heads and looked away, pretending to be deaf, not hearing anything.

In front of everyone, Colin insisted on mentioning their private intimate moments, and he was also complacent and proud, while the audience in the room was the one who felt guilty. What a bizarre situation!

She couldn't stand him at all!

"Mr. Rodriguez, I remember the evaluations of you in financial magazines. But now your saying things like this, I feel like your public image is crumbling."

"Why would I care about my public image?" Colin chuckled lightly. Those reports were all made up; he found interviews to be a waste of time.

Only those foolish women believed those words. No man would be serious while flirting, and he was no exception.

The two of them, seemingly oblivious to others, whispered in each other's ears without scruple.

In Dylan's eyes, it was an affair that had started long ago! Perhaps they had been carrying on behind his back, engaging in secret encounters in every corner of the gathering.

They treated him like a fool.

It was as if millions of little insects were gnawing at his nerves, making him so extremely annoyed that his lungs felt like they were about to explode.

"Eranthe! You bitch!"

"Bang!" The ashtray was thrown out effortlessly, hitting Dylan on the head, causing blood to flow.

Dylan shut up and fell silent.

Colin withdrew his hand, the veins still protruding on the back of his hand. The cigarette between his fingers, shaken by the earlier movement, scattered ash, covering the low table. The faint red glow of the cigarette tip continued to flicker, sparkling.

His wrist, visible due to the movement, had a watch that had once fallen on her, chilling her to the bone. Finally, at that moment his kiss was gentle enough to make her gradually relax.

The memories of that night surged back. Eranthe found that, surprisingly, she also desired Colin. It wasn't as she had thought, merely considering him a tool to be used, and discarded as she had initially thought.

"It seems like I've given you some face. Contact Eric Miller and have him take his son back," Colin said, and the people around him immediately went out to handle it.

The people who were forcibly kept in the private room by Colin just now also took the opportunity to find excuses and slip away.

Inside the private room, now only him and Eranthe remained.

Colin took a puff of his cigarette, his gaze becoming hazy and profound behind the lenses. He blew out a smoke ring, and in a languid tone, he spoke.

"And your answer?"

Eranthe hadn't expected him to be so straightforward in asking again. She steadied her emotions and said, "Mr. Rodriguez, can you answer a question for me?"

"Go ahead." His gaze lingered on her face, but Eranthe couldn't discern the depth of his intentions.

She clearly understood that, from the moment she met Colin, he hadn't shown a particular interest in her until that day when she voluntarily sent him the room number at Keren No. 18 that day.

That seemed to be the beginning of everything, including the present moment. While Colin's hand lingered on her waist, he didn't make any additional moves, almost as if he was waiting for her to give the order.

It felt like every time they engaged in this subtle struggle, it started with her taking the initiative.

She knew the question she wanted to ask was very silly, but this time she had to ask.

It was very important.

"Are you into me?" Eranthe asked solemnly.
