Chapter 27 - Chapter 27

9/14 20:08 (Summer, Night)

It didn't take long for Sabel to join Luna and Mafel in full consciousness, blushing slightly at her position before calming down.

"So, you are going to leave tomorrow morning, right?"

"Yeah but don't worry, I'm coming back for you very soon." Luna caressed her cheek. "But why don't we pass this night together?" She smiled, hungry for companionship.

Sabel blushed heavily before looking at Mafel for an escape.

This last one noted the look and smiled reassuringly in response before said smile became a smirk of amusement.

"Obviously, after all it seems only natural for us to enjoy some quality time together."

The Elf was much more relaxed now that she could feel the Soul-eater's emotions for her own and her Oath to belong to the Lunarian was overwritten by Luna's Mate Mark.

In other words, she was free of the conseguences of her Oaths and the only thing missing to return to her previous level of power was time to recreate her Shades and store enough Vital Energy and Mana.

Or… Or instead… Mafel decided to ask her Mate for information of the creation and use of Vital Mana through their Link to modify her Runes to store it instead.

It should be quite a bit more efficient in the long run, or at least more effective.

This Link, while slightly biased in favor of the Lunarian, was actually quite fair and so a request for information requires an offering for information in response.

In this specific case, the information Mafel shared as the offering was the way to create Oaths, things quite precious to Luna considering how she had no idea of the process to make a Vow.

The exchange was accepted without much trouble as the informations was quickly shared between the two Mates.

So Luna started to experiment with making an Oath by constantly making and dissolving it with variable amounts of Vital Mana to measure the difference, noting something very curious.

Neither the ammount of Vital Mana used in the creation of the Oath, the Control over the Energy or various Affinities mattered, differently from the Quality of the Energy.

And the Oaths she made were simple and concise.

"I Vow: I will always be in a state of "Deep Meditation".

"I Vow: I will never use Vital Energy and Mana separated.

"I Vow: I will never use Blood and Shadows separated.

"I Vow: I will never use an Artifact made by other's hands if they aren't made explicitly for me.

"I Vow: I will never Manifest my "Unique Arma" without Awakening it."

Purple chains manifested briefly around Luna after this declaration, clenching tightly around her and trying to soffocate her.

Tentative that failed as her Vital Mana flared intensely.

Luna closed her eyes, stretching and examining the changes in her being caused by her Oaths.

She sighed before freely giving Mafel and Sabel information about her own three Growth Skills to help them grow in the future while she was away.

As her eyes watched her two Mates dealing with the information she just shared with them, she decided to speak.

"Why don't we do to sleep? Sleeping on it should help you two integrate the informations properly."

The proposal was accepted without any particular objection as the three retreated to the Elf's bedroom on the floor just above her office, after this last one made sure that the door was properly closed.

(Yggrar)

In a continent far away, a continent constituited by a circle with a diameter of 3000 kilometers, emerged the oldest and biggest Being on the planet, an enormous tree whose bark was seemingly made out of crystal of every colors while its black leaves drank in all the light it could to fuel the enormous tree and the barrier it was sustaining to protect the nation built around it, seeking its protection.

This tree was simply without any comparison to anything else in the World of Gaea, being what could be called a weeping willow as wide as it was tall, in other words, around 2900 kilometers in either direction.

Within the second biggest building within the continent of Yggrar, both of them being right next to the trunk of Yig, being the Adventurer Guild's Headquarters, the Guild Grandmaster, looking like a young androginous Human, was sprawled on their desk bored out of their mind as they had already finished the paperwork for the next eleven days, wondering if they should proceed further.

"Come in." They spoke before one of their assistant could even knock upon the door, door that quickly opened to let in their newest segretary, a position mostly for show as they had no need for such.

"There is an urgent message from the Guild Master of the city of Nealet, Midrar."

"Oh? What does he want?" Their curiosity was evident as they turned to fully sit on their desk, eager for information and amusement in equal misure.

"It seems like at least a Dungeon in the area was created and modified."

"Hoh? You sure? Gimme details."

A sigh escaped their assistant before she continued.

"Yes, he sent a Party to make sure the information was real."

"I see. In that case, ask him for the memory and offer an E-Rank Ability Skill of his choice in recompense. Additionally, Rediliv. I have some informations for you."

"Grandmaster, are you sure-"

"What do you want, brat."

A voice rang out from all around them before a new figure made entirely out of energy appeared in the middle of the room, long green hairs and a dress made entirely out of leaves.

"As expected only the oldest granny in the World would ever call me a brat. And it seems like someone was able to create and modify a Dungeon."

The Driad, as beautifull as she was indifferent, merely rose a simple eyebrow, her golden eyes showing no interest to this information.

"And so? I have no interest in Dungeons."

"As expected from the oldest living Being, Rediliv the God Tree's Priestess to be blind to quick changes and their causes."

"I am not the oldest Being alive, my Master is. And you cannot even try to Imitate my Master." Rediliv protested with strenght before in answer Stere Hapu, the Grandmaster, rolled their eyes.

"You know as well as I do that your "Master" " they indicated towards the great tree. "is long dead, being a Soul-less existence before you were even Awake."

"I reject your reasoning." They were lucky to be one of the top ten strongest People in the World that this exclamation was the only conseguence for what she would recognize as heresy.

"Ahh, speaking with religious fanatics is so tiring, especially if they are the religious and political head of the continent you are in."

"You will never be able to Imitate Master."

"I know. Considering its size and its material composition I would need more raw power than is present in this World at any moment in time. If Orichalcum is a metal so imbued by Energy that it transforms in a new metal, it absorbed so much Energy that its leaves are even superior, to not speak of its bark or I suppose its wood."

Rediliv smugly grinned at hearing praises for her Master and Creator before turning back into energy and leaving without any further comment.

"As always Spiritual Beings, especially Created ones, are as big a pain in the ass as they are aesthetically pleasing. She left, you can stand up now." The Doppelganger told the still bowing one before activating an Artifact, more specifically the one that connects with the memories freely shared with them, more than could be thought about as some individuals like their segretary is required to have their memory fully opened to them while in other places its tradition to share memories with them.

This was not as much a breach of privacy as it could be with another Guild Grandmaster as they had absolutely no interest in sexual or romantic relationships.

"Ah, before you leave. Tomorrow is a male day." The youngest Person within the Top Ten, just under 400 years old, finally found the memories the Guild Master shared with them, analyzing them.

"This is becoming more and more interesting." The Being with the highest amount of Skills in the World murmured at low volume to themselves, a sharp grin on their face, as they observed the memories the Guildmaster sent them in advance reguarding this Luna and what she told him.

(Nord Lowrar)

As the night was ending, two Persons met for another match.

Flame and ice met fighting for domination as Phoenix and Ice Dragon prepared to fight again but the situation was quite different from the last fight.

While Amber was a little stronger than before as demonstrated by her more concentrated flames that started to mix in the Light-Attribute, Aurora was completely different from their last conflict as demonstrated by her apparent age being higher and the much more intense cold, freezing the area around her.

Not only that but, despite her blank expression, her eyes were full of an intense desire to kill the one before her.

This battle would end quite differently from their previous one and both of the Legendary Creatures could feel it as shown by the fact they were both in an Humanoid form and ready to fight at full power.

(Dunrar)

In a completely different continent, more specifically within the deepest point of a Dungeon in Dunrar in the Core Room, a man was kneeling before a floating blue jewel that was pulsing regularly.

Said man looked like an handsome man in his early-thirties with long black hair and traits some Otherworlders would call asians.

This, however, was no being coming from the World of Earth but a Cultivator from another World, more specifically a Demonic Cultivator whose former Sect specialized in poisons and insects in general.

"This lowly one give his thanks to the venerable Master for the opportunity they generously offered."

The bowing Human exclaimed while the Dungeon Core before him, pulsing at the center of the circular room it was in.

This Dungeon Core was being used as a medium to allow comunication between him and his Master, Master that just granted him the way to grow stronger.

Said way was simple considering his origin as a demonic poison cultivator and the Dungeon whose Core Room she was in, a Dungeon specialized in Insectoid Monsters.

And his plan was quite simple, really.

As the Core ceased its blue coloration and returned to being its natural transparent color while he proceded with his plan thanks to the control of the Dungeon's Monsters he was gifted with.

All the Monsters within the unknown C-Rank Dungeon moved to the center of the last Boss' Room, with various silk-making insects trapping them all within, condensing it more and more.

Meanwhile the Nameless Cultivator, as the tradition of his Sect was to remove the Names of all the disciples until they reach a certain Stage and they are at least an Inner Disciple, spread his Vital Energy and Mana around the silk, starting to slowly compress it while keeping the poison, blood, other liquids and especially Energies sealed within.

This was an approximation of the process to make a Gu, thing that he learned in secret while in his Sect, and an interesting experiment when it comes to his Master.

This process was slow, sure, but the Dungeon was made and modified in an hidden place explicitely for him and so he had more than enough time to succed.

His Master, meanwhile, continued to divide their attention between both the Cultivator and all their various Dungeons, noting how one of them was discovered.

They nodded to themselves while keeping some of their attention to their subordinate, well aware he was planning on betraying them later, as was his nature and nurture.

It was only natural they had an ace in their sleeves.

More specifically, the 10th Ranked Person in the World, the Ancestor that was Sealed by the hands of the 7th and 8th Ranked ones to definitively stop their Rampage.

The formless Dungeon Maker observed said Ancestor, a surprisingly beautifull androginous Human-looking Person, their eyes closed as they were still within what looked like a glass coffin but was quite the different material.

The one active between the two was quite aware of the difference in power between the two but was also aware of the fact that they would grow in time while the other was stuck, unable to even gain Magicules.

And they would grow fast considering how every single Being dying in their Dungeons would allow them to grow further.

Dungeons whose number they were carefully but continuously growing, between those they conquered, those they created and those they altered.

While the Cultivator started to laugh maniacally, his eyes and smile full of madness, the poison, Vital Energy and Mana started to fuse slowly together within the cocoon forming a new type of Energy and the Beings within were melting down in a new Lifeform, a Gu the Dungeon Maker was observing one of their Dungeon being conquered by a Party called the Iriblades that seemed to be quite irritated by the Dungeon to their amusement.

9/15 0:48 (Summer, Day)

*Luna Gains 310+800+300 Magicules.

It was time, Luna left the city of Nealet, saluting Mafel, Sabel and the other two member of the Outrejects, restarting her travels after a night spent with her two Mates, unaware that she was going the wrong way.
