As I reached home, I ran to the nearest mirror to view if there were any differences between my past and present self.
'I can't believe it..'
There was a change. It was minor, yet visible.
Before, I was looking like a 3/10 now, I'm a solid 5/10 kinda guy.
It's as if my jaws are slightly more defined and my eyes seem to.. sparkle?
Nah, it just made my features looked more pleasing to the eyes.
Apparently, I've more of a cute sort of charm in my appearance.
Though, I'm not sure if Charisma plays a part of it.
'Show me my stats.'

[ Passive Ability: Lesser Copy Ability.
Due to Kise Ryota's template, host is able to hone his skills for a day's worth of eidetic memory, lesser spatial awareness and lesser hand-eye coordination.
Thanks to the expertise above, host has a 7% chance to mimic an action observed for an action that is limited to 2.04 seconds. ]
Woah, there's even an increase on the passive ability.
As I continue to admire myself in the mirror I can't help but wonder what sort of career I'd want to pursue.
If my appearance continue to increase, at this rate I might have a chance to be an idol..
However, I've yet to practice singing, dancing or even, acting.
I've decided.
"Eomma, can we go out when you're free? I want to see what's in the city."
"Of course! Why would I deny a date with Uri (Our) Yeon Woo-ah?", she replied happily at the invite.

I was fortunate enough to come across a few buskers in the city but they've yet to come across the standard which I'm anticipating to mimic.
I was hoping to copy good vocal techniques and breathing exercises.
Doing so, I'd have a wider vocal range and possibly not hurt myself whilst singing.
The visit was uneventful as there weren't any singers that's distinct enough for me to call it as 'the one'.
Despite that, I didn't really had my hopes up for the first day.
That was until I heard him.
"You, you,
You, you.
Today, let's walk together on this street.. "
This is it! The sort of vocal technique that I'd been searching for.
As soon as I had started listened, I'd immediately stopped where I stood, with my mother's hand in tow as I calmly observed the singer's actions and indications.
It was like being in a trance, his singing did that to the audience while everyone held their breath as they paid attentively to his soothing tone.
Throughout the whole song, I was trying the hit that 7% chance of mimicry while practicing in my head.
As the song ended, I could only bit my lip in regret for not having achieve my goal.
"Hello. I'm Park Hyo Shin. This next song..."
What? My brain fried.
Did he just say Park Hyo Shin?
'Now that I think about it, no wonder he looked familiar.'
"Suddenly as I followed your growing shadow..~"
'No time to lose, I need to focus!'
The song went on as I tried my best to hit that 7% rate on my ability.
"He sings really well", my mum muttered beside me.
I couldn't hear her as I was heavily invested on trying to imitate the technique.
The song was nearing its' end and so were my wits as I've yet to copy his ability.
'Please! Just this once!'

'HOLY MACARONI, I DID IT!'
"Thanks for listening, please continue to support my future works."
Applause were heard and some of the audience were sad to see him leave the vicinity.
"Let's go home, Eomma.", I started pulling her as I sounded happy whilst revelling in my victory.
"Hmm, shall we eat outside?", she gestured in an inquisitive manner.
"Okay!"

Days passed as I continued to practice my vocals at home, in the afternoon. I've also received a daily quest which increases my Strength after my continuous probing of methods to gain them.
It seems as though the system works either through its' own feelings or due to my strong resolve.
I've borrowed a few books to focus on my musical talents. I usually read them while my mother is at home, as I wouldn't want her freaking out that her son is a muscle-head or an aspiring artist.
Hence, my schedule consists of morning exercises, afternoon vocal practice and evening studying.
As it's still the holidays, some of the days are spent in the park with Ji Eun and my fellow Ice Wheel enthusiast, Seung Ri.
After the incident, Ji Eun's nature has been rather timid as she doesn't seem to nag or annoy me as much as she used to.
I feel guilty as it must've been a traumatizing experience which had changed her usual demeanour.
Nonetheless, Seung Ri and I are here for her, whenever she's feeling down.
Though, what happened is kept between us and, Seung Ri is in the dark about the whole thing.
The months went on and eventually, middle school term has begun.
-----------------
"Good morning. My name is Mr. Lee Kwang Soo. I'll be your homeroom teacher for the year. How about we introduce ourselves starting from the first row?"
"My name is....", a student started introducing himself as I gazed away, not paying any attention to him.
Here I am, bored stiff as I could care less on the self-presentations going around.
I had even tried to get the protagonist's seat but I surmise that it's not meant to be as I'm seated at the other corner by the back, where the doors are.
"Hello! I'm Lee Ji Eun. My hobbies are singing and dancing. I also love sweet potatoes. Please take care of me!"
I could see her occasionally glancing towards me while stating her identity to the class.
It would seem that the fates has brought the two of us together again, as we're in the same class.
I'd say we'd really grew on each other since the day I'd saved her, though I didn't think she'd be the clingy type of friend.
"Hi. I'm Sung Yeon Woo. I like cars. Pleased to meet ya.", I said in a swift manner, not wanting to prolong my introduction.
"Alright, now that we've gotten to know ourselves. I'd like to tell you guys what we'll be learning..."
He carried on as we got to know our lesson plans for the year, dates for our exams and the like.

"Yeon Woo-ah, let's go home together!", Ji Eun asked in excitement as she lifted her bag and walked towards me.
Hm, I didn't think she'd invite me today as she had made a few friends as compared to me, who'd been alone the entire day.
Seeing how I've 'grown' into my current personality. I have made it so that I'm not as childlike as compared to who I was before, where me being a child takes precedence so that nothing goes wrong.
What could go wrong? Maybe the whole, 'my son is a genius! But he doesn't have any friends..' sort of scenario would have taken place.
Which is why, I wasn't too keen on making friends for the current and upcoming years as I want to focus more on my individual skills and education.
Plus, I have Ji Eun, and that's more than what I could ask for.
