"We don't need a violent leader who rules with fear, we need someone who is able to take control and keep people safe, who is able to maintain order, don't you think?" he asked everyone on the bus, "What we need is a leader. A leader just for us!"
Saya rolled her eyes as she immediately grasped the professor's intentions, "And let me guess. There is only one person who could take on the burden?"
The Class 1-A teacher's smile grew, "I'm the only one qualified. I'm a teacher."
"You're not the only teacher," Kyoko growled, standing up to give a challenging look to one of the teachers she never liked.
"True, the best guide for us will be the teacher who was saved so many times by some students. Shouldn't it be the other way around?" the professor mocked venomously making the red-haired woman grit her teeth, "Be realistic Kyoko-senpai, you are just the pet for these teenagers, who are the only reason you are still alive."
Kyoko had to grab the Uzumaki's wrist when he was going to throw a metal thermos that he found under the seat at her, no matter how much she wanted to throw it herself, she would not be reduced to the level of that trash.
"Shuzika-sensei does not have the skills of a leader either, so I offer to be one. I assure you that I will safeguard your lives and you will have nothing to fear, because I will give my life for you"
It was incredible how easy it was to manipulate minds on the verge of collapse with pretty words and lies that only an idiot would believe, and luckily for the professor, his students were these people.
They clapped foolishly and cheered for their teacher.
"You know what they say," with a triumphant smile he turned to look at the rest of the teenagers, "The majority rules so from now on I'm in control."
That had been enough for Rei.
"Sensei open...please open the door! I'm leaving!" The girl didn't even give the nurse time to think, when she pulled the lever that opened the door, and left the bus, making Takashi go after her.
"Rei, what are you-"
"No... How the hell am I going to stay in the same place as that bastard?!"
While the two teenagers were arguing outside, Shido felt that his mastery was advancing more than expected, that this girl was going towards the simplest of things.
"I guess there's no way I'm going to change my mind, it's a lost cause..." Shido said earning the dirty looks of several, "In this new world of chaos only the fittest people will survive, not rebellious brats who "they go against the flow"
"You're right," Naruto got up from his seat and with a smile walked towards the teacher, under the incredulous gaze of his classmates, "In this shitty world we have to know which people to follow."
"Oh Uzumaki-san, I see that you have finally opened your eyes, I always knew that your permanent record of being a rebellious and uncontrollable student was wrong, I always saw something special in you"
"So?" Tilting his head, Naruto forced a smile when the professor ran his hand through his hair as a fatherly gesture, "Then I have to learn to follow his rules."
"Wonderful Uzuma-"
*Bang*
Everyone on the bus was left with their mouths open before the hard blow of the Uzumaki's knee against the professor's crotch, who was left breathless and fell to his knees in agony.
Only to receive a hard kick that broke his glasses and before he could defend himself, the wooden sword was placed against his neck.
"Come on sensei" Naruto spat as he tightened his grip on the Bokken, cutting off the air of the man who desperately tried to get out of his grip, but with the leverage the boy was using with the sword against his neck it was impossible.
"What do you think you're doing?!"
Professor Shido's students tried to jump to her defense, but stood still as they heard Seako's katana hit the ground, a clear signal to stay out of it.
Everyone looked surprised at the conflict, especially Rei and Takashi who saw everything from the window, as the professor's face was turning purple.
"Come on old man, you said it, survival of the fittest, show me that you are," Naruto growled, using all his strength to keep the professor immobilized, "You talk a lot, like all the times you put me down like trash by talking shit about me." , saying that I had to be expelled for being an unbalanced and stupid student who does not deserve to be in his select class"
"AHHGGGGG!" Shido was already losing strength and his vision was becoming blurry, yet he could hear the boy clearly.
"Weren't you the one who once told me that just being a dumb and clumsy orphan like me would be a failure for the rest of his life? That he would clean your shoes for coins to eat" with a mocking smile Naruto released his grip on the professor .
He coughed and took a deep breath trying to catch his breath, until he received a kick that sent him to the back of the bus.
"And just look at what position we're in now," sheathing the wooden katanas on his back, he gave a flat look as the students helped the teacher sit up and recover, "You're worthless Shido, talk shit one more time and I'll tell you." I'll kick your ass and get you off this truck, got it?"
"…"
"Come on, say it, don't make me go there"
"..." gritting his teeth in humiliation and rubbing his purple neck with bruises already forming, he slowly nodded his head, "Yes..."
"Good," satisfied, Naruto turned around to take a seat next to Kyoko-sensei again, who like the others still had a look of shock.
" Uzumaki-san… You are my hero!" Hirano could only cry at the charisma and envy that the boy had, for doing what every student wanted to do with the most unbearable teacher at the academy, " Feel the humiliation of hundreds of students in pain, you unfortunate!" I celebrated looking towards Shido, who had to sit quietly in the corner of the bus.
" That was... impressive," thought Saya, adjusting her glasses, still stunned by what had just happened, "I'm sure my father would like you, you little fool."
His father was also a rough man who didn't hold anything back, something typical of a man who spent a good part of his life in the army.
