"Oh, that. I guessed that it could happen. I already planned. This is called piracy in the human world."
"And what is the plan?"
"There was a seal on the book. It's a drawing of the king's crest and my written signature. The seal is detachable from the book. One, we will form a sophisticated group, more like a cult. The seal will be their pass to meetings and to show the authenticity of their books. Two, since it has the king's crest in it, we can make a bluff that anyone caught with the book that doesn't hold the seal will face the king's wrath."
"We don't need to bluff; he's your mate. We can make him pass the decree."
"I don't want him to know about this."
"He'll find out soon. I bet he has heard of the books."
"We'll bluff for now, and when it gets worse, we will ask for help."
