As time passed by the trailer for Yui's movie is already out and making headlines. And soon the premier is going to happen. Kaia could only watch on the TV and only thought what could've been. By this time Yui was already home and he had been busy going places promoting the movie.
While Akerian did try to get in contact with Kaia, the latter declined as he wishes to be alone. Julian on the other hand had become more colder. You see Akerian met with Julian one day and as usual things didn't go well.
There were news of Roger Ardino's health declining and recently Akerian's mom, the first wife, passed away due to an accident, so Miko became the official wife now. As the family is going through tough time now Roger wanted Julian to come back home. And that's why Akerian came to see him. Of course Julian refused without a thought, as long as Yui was with him, he's never meeting his father.
Kaia as usual now starting cleaning and fixing up the bakery. In a few months he would be able to open it again. Although almost half of his own money went into fixing this place up, he wouldn't want to owe Julian anything he thought.
It was again another day of watching the TV when Kaia heard the doorbell. By this time he was tired of shooing Akerian away so he thought this time he's going to be harsh but when he opened the door, there was no man, only woman, maybe in her late 40s. She looked elegant and calm. Kaia didn't know who she was so he could only ask, "May I help you Ma'am?"
The lady stared at him and replied, "I'm sorry, young man. But I'm looking for my son, I heard this is where he was staying."
Kaia Obeviously didn't know who her son is but it's either Yui or Julian he thought.
K- May I know your son's name?
Lady- Ah his name is Julian
Kaia was shocked, this was the first time he met Julian's mother. He doesn't talk much but Kaia knew Julian cared for his mother so without hesitation Kaia welcomed her in.
K- Ah Misses Ardino, yes Julian's here but not right now he went to work. Please come in.
Miko- Thank you
Kaia brewed some tea and made sure that she was comfortable. Then the obevious questions started coming.
Miko- And you are?
Kaia thought about what he should say, he's what? He doesn't know. If you like at things now he could only be seen as a leech feeding off Julian.
K- I'm Julian's friend and roommate. Recently Yui is also living with us.
Miko- Yui? That boy?
A feeling of sadness was detected from Miko, Kaia knew now that Miko may have been okay with their relationship.
It's like people say talk of the devil and he comes. A moment after the silence the door opened and Yui came home.
Yui- Kaia I'm back can you make me some nice tea?
The two people who were sitting turned their hands to see him walked in. Yui stopped on his track when he saw who was there with Kaia. An awkward silence falls upon the room. However Miko got up and hugged Yui with tears in her eyes.
Miko- I'm sorry...
She cried, back then when her son and Yui faced hardship she couldn't do anything, she could only stood by and watch but now things are different, she now has power as she's the official wife of one of the most wealthiest man.
After a whole hearty conversation, Yui and Miko finally relaxed and calm down. They also got closer all the while Kaia was watching from the sideline. And soon Julian came back.
Julian and his mom has a lot of catching up to do. For hours and hours Miko talked to Julian and Yui and the two of them listened. All the while Kaia stayed in his room all alone.
