The room was very quiet as Loaded and Sayora just stared at Judah and Kyri. Not saying anything to them. Still, they both could not forget the pressure and the immense power that overflowed from Judah's body. Kyri, on the other hand, has seen this a couple times from Judah.
Every time Kyri sees the Judah aura change into a stainless aura and overwhelming power, she knows she is speaking with no one other than Sol. From the couple of conversations Kyri had with Sol. It seems like Sol is pressing for time, no matter who his enemy is. It is something that their current realms could not deal with in the least.
"Now, since I got your attention, let me ask you a question, Loaded. Where do you believe Sifir's talent ranks in the Night clan?"
"How do you know Sifir is part of the Night clan?"
"I also want to know that as well, beloved." Loaded, just stare at Judah.
Judah was sitting in the seat, recovering from when Sol displayed her might. Every time Sol displays her might or prestige, Judah's body is overtaxed and fatigued beyond measure. However, Judah shows none of this on her face or gives a hint of her feeble state.
Even Kyri doesn't know the overwhelming burden that is placed on Judah's body, meridians, and soul. Judah's just tapping the seat and staring at both Patriarch Loaded and Matriarch Sayora. Readjusting her posture, she still gave off the aura of a mighty figure looking down on the masses.
"How can I not know, Loaded? What you deem secrets are merely truths that the Night clan doesn't want the public to know. Also, the Sunshaser, the Night clan, and the Midnight have a deep and complicated relationship." Judah tilted her head while speaking. Judah dropped all politeness and etiquette when speaking with Loaded and Sayora.
"Oh? That is very impressive. You said all that to just say nothing at all. Let's go with this. We will answer one of your questions, and you will do the same. When one party does answer the question, you and Kyri can take your party and leave."
"We don't feel like playing coy with some juniors. Even if Kyri's realm is slightly behind ours, we have other pressing matters we have to get to."
"That is fine. Let me tell you now that asking who or what that presence is is beyond your scope of reality. Also, even you got the answer you were seeking. You won't believe the answer. So, let's not waste our time on things we cannot fathom. This is a fact. Even I don't believe it, and here we are a few moments later after witnessing that."
Both Patriarch Loaded and Matriarch Sayora nodded in agreement to not ask what they experienced a few moments ago. The room fell silent once again. It only took a few seconds before Judah asked the same questions she had before.
I loaded, though, for a second before answering this question. Sayora, on the other hand, didn't need a moment. "I would say Sifir's raw ability places him at six. Yet, Sifir hasn't developed the way we wanted him to. His understanding of our methods and techniques is very low. As you know, Judah and Kyri, the highest rank one can have is nine. While being one means your future cultivation path is almost non-existent, to say the least, Sayora sighs with helplessness.
"Sifir talent is five. Not because his raw output is not high enough. It is because Sifir has a knack of dwelling too much on patterns of people's behavior and not enough on the pursuit of a true emperor. In the long history of the Night clan, you have our founders, Dark Syde, LoX, and LuX. At the same age as Sifir, they were level 8 talents. Even Sayora had level 7 talent at Sifir's age. So, where would you place Sifir talents, Judah?" Loaded leans forward, placing his folded hands on the table. I am waiting for Judah's answer.
"A nine. That's where Sifir's talent is. It is not solely Sifir himself but also his background and the immense pressure that is placed on him. Plus, unlike those great figures in your Night clan's long history, they all had access to Night clan resources; Sifir does not. However, if Sifir grasps what he got his hands on, he will be unstoppable in this realm. Yet he doesn't even know it. You will agree with my assessment, Loaded. In one way or another, you will acknowledge Sifir. In my opinion, Sifir does need harsh and brutal training from the world, and so do I." Judah sighs with desolation. Kyri could not stop looking at Judah, and her mind could not stop spinning.
"Now my next question is: What are the Night clan going to do to stop the influence of the Elder?" Judah stared intensely at both Sayora and Loaded. Both Sayora and Loaded looked at each other, and they both laughed. Kyri was puzzled as to why they were laughing.
"First, I am going to let my beloved speak." Loaded auras gush out with dominating aires.
"Our method is the same as that of our presuccessor, Darksyde, a True Emperor of our Night clan. We will crush all our enemies with overwhelming might. How that might look and the tactics we used. We will keep those ideas and methods to ourselves." Sayora grins wickedly with her deep, earthly brown eyes. Judah was unmoved and just looked at Loaded, waiting for his response.
"It doesn't matter what the outside world thinks. In troubled times or by basing ourselves on unlimitless glory, we earn it. When someone's greedy hands overreach and dare to take what is ours, destruction is the only answer for those people, cultivators, or organizations that dare swatch from us. Now, Judah, what is your Sunchaser clan going to do to stop the influence of the Elder?"
Judah leans back in her seat. She looked at the ceiling and just blanketly stared. After a few seconds, Judah looked back at Loaded, Sayora, and Kyri. Without another pause, Judah spoke. "A legion. So how many talents are you willing to send?" Like a sly vixen, Judah had a sinister smile, and her eyes looked like crescent moons. "I know you are rebuilding just like the Midnight clan. I am not greedy at all. You can send 200 to 300 talents at all levels. Even the weakest talents have been used in a legion. Now, how many talents are you willing to send to the new legion??"
Sayora was not amused by this question. Loaded on the other, only chuckle a little bit. Seeing that Judah was determined to have both the Night clan and the Sunchaser form a legion, instead of letting Sayora speak first, Loaded decided to speak directly about this matter.
"A legion? 200 to 300 talents of all levels? Judah, your appetite is quite big, isn't it? Another thing is, who is going to invest the resources and time into this new legion you want us to create? What grade of resources are we going to invest? Just like the ranking of talent, we rank treasure in the same matter."
Judah waited for Loaded to continue talking. She was not bothered by loaded words or actions. Judah knew she was destined for greatness beyond what this world could provide. All Judah needed to do was prepare for his true awakening.
"As Kyri knows, the highest treasure we found in this world is ancient treasure, ranked 6 material. We know there is higher-ranking material in Ancient Treasure. Since you, Judah, think these treasures are some kind of cabbage that is puckered on the side of the road, let me explain something to you. The lowest-ranked treasure is natural treasure, followed by mysterious treasure, exquisite treasure, hard-to-find worldly treasures, and lastly ancient treasure."
Judah held up her hand, telling Patriarch Loaded to pause for a second. "Patriarch Loaded, I don't need a history lesson on the rank of treasures that are in this world. My only question is, Are you willing?"
"Is the Night clan willing? Or are Sayora and I, Loaded Night, willing to form a new pavilion with the Sunchaser clan? Or am I forming a new pavilion with you, Matriarch Judah?" Loaded again applied overwhelming pressure to Judah's body. This time, it is even greater than before. As Loaded looked at Judah, some blood started to trinkle out of Judah's mouth. Yet, there was still no change in Judah's expression.
An icy cold stare shot at Loaded and Sayora from Judah. Judah struggles to get up from her seat and straighten out her posture.
"Sit down! Who said you could stand up in front of this Lord?" Loaded shouted. With a wave of Loaded's hand in the air, overwhelming pressure crashed on Judah. Was this pressure incredible? Yes. However, compared to the burden that Sol places on Judah's body, the loaded pressure was a light breeze to Sol's stainless aura, which got rid of any impurities.
However, Judah disregards what Loaded just said. Judah just stared at both of them. "Very good. I like the overbearing nature of the Night clan. Now I can see why you are number two and not one." Sweeping her glaze at both Loaded and Sayora, Out of Loaded and Sayora, Sayora felt a slight chill creep up her spine. Judah's aura didn't change like last time. However, something felt off, like Judah was waiting for something.
Loaded grunted with a nasty expression. "Matriarch Judah, I think it is time for you to go. And if we happen to meet again, it will be on better terms than this."
Judah said nothing at all and proceeded to walk out of the room. All you could hear was the floor creak as Judah made his way out of the room. Loaded could only stare at the back of Judah. Gritting his teeth, Sayora placed her hand on Loaded's hand. She shook her head to tell him to let it go.
"Yes, we are overbearing. That is our nature. We do not like to be pawns in any game, even in our own realm. However, she is stubborn, like a certain daughter we had." Sayora spoke softly.
"It is all Sunchaser and Midnight's fault that we lost our daughter." Loaded, said a rough voice.
"Our daughter was a talent in eighth grade with a matchless future." Sayora sight again. "Our clan is very overbearing, and that is precisely why our daughter left the clan. We blame them, but it is our fault our daughter left the clan for somewhere else." Once again, Sayora sighs with a helpless voice. Loaded eyes started to turn all black, and his aura was about to burst out. The meditation beads lit up and suppressed the loaded aura. After a few seconds, Loaded calms down.
"Sigh. You are right. It was our fault. Our daughter left the clan. What I will not accept is that child's other half of his bloodline." Loaded eyes cleared up, and no one could see the darkness in his eyes. "My beloved, Sayora. Send a messenger to the Sunchaser clan and inform them we will agree with forming a joint legion to deal with the Elder with a few conditions as well."
Sayaro was slightly shocked to hear Loaded voice his final decision on the legion. Loaded slowly closed his eyes. Pondering on a few things, as well as the presence that took over Judah's body, "There is no such thing as having too many trump cards."
Kyri rushed out of the room, where the rest of them were waiting. Seeing Judah, Kyri's expression was worried and speechless. Judah wanted to rest; however, how could she being in front of Kyri or in the Night clan mansion? Judah kept on walking toward Kyri.
"Get our people and meet me at the entrance of the mansion."
"Did something happen?" Kyri had a questioning look on her face.
"Our business is done here. Let move. Or do you wish to stay here longer?" A sharp stare was in Judah's eyes.
"No." Kyri's voice is unwilling to accept orders. "I will get them and meet you at the entrance." Kyri walked quickly to get the rest of their party.
"They say patience is a virtue. For me, having patience is a burden for the helpless. Since my cultivation is lower for now, I have to just wait." Judah spoke to herself.
----
In the outer area of the fifth peak of the Seven Element Peaks. Unit 04 is running for their lives. Trying to flee from the late stage of the earth realm, the Snow Lion displays impressive attacking power and relentless pursuit.
"Hey stupid! Why did you try to eat that cub?"
"It was all fall night fault. He said it would be tasty!"
"Now, why would I tell you something like that? I love my life way more than telling you to eat that Snow Lion cub, Jagged." A cold and harsh voice came out of Sifir's mouth.
"Really stupid, Jagged! Now you have us running for our lives. Because you wanted to see how that cub tasted! If we weren't being chased..."
"Scatter!" Death Sword yells!
"Got dammit! I swear, I am skinning you alive after this Jagged!"
"Don't blame me! Fall night is the one."
The Snow Lion sends a sound attack at the group of trespassers that stumble into its area. It wouldn't be happy until two of them are dead and eating on their bodies. Everyone just stares at Jagged. Sifir thought to himself, "This fumbling idiot is really courting death!" Purple Night was mumbling under her breath about how she was going to torture Jagged.
Death Sword was not pleased at all. All he wanted was for the fifth peak to be smooth with no issues. Death Sword, with his fist clenched. You could hear cracking coming from Death Sword's bones in his hands.
"Keep on moving! We are all most out of that snow-lion area of influences. Purple Night, toss us other low-grade swift talismans!"
"Death Sword, when we get a chance, I will need to make more low-grade talismans when we stop!"
"Purple Night, how many swift talismans do we have left?"
"We have eight low-grade swift talismans, three mid-grade talismans, and one high-grade talisman. I have made some new low-grade swift talismans with new crafting techniques. However, I don't know how well they are since this is the first time crafting with this technique."
Death Sword gritted his teeth. "Give me, Fall Night, and yourself the mid-grade swift talismans, and give Jagged the low-grade talisman."
"What! How ruthless Death Sword."
"Everything has its merits and punishments. This calamity is on you. So, if you can make it out of that Snow Lion area in one piece, court your blessing!"
Seeing that Snow Lion was closing the gap again. Purple Night tosses out the two mid-grade and one low-grade swift talismans. Death Sword grabbed his and immediately activated it. Just when Sifir was about to grab his. Jagged, took the opportunity to snatch Sifir's swift talisman and activate it. Purple Night didn't look back as soon as she tossed those talismans. She activated her talisman instantly. Sifir was shocked at what happened. Seeing the trio disappear in a matter of seconds. Sifir turns cold like the weather on the fifth peak.
The only saving grace was that Sifir was prepared to save his own life. One of the most important lessons he learned in the Midnight and Night clan was not placing his faith in other people's hands, or he wouldn't even know how he would die. Sifir tapped on his dimensional bag and pulled out a mid-grade Instant Wrap talisman. This was an upgraded version of the Swift Talisman in the fact that it allowed the user to move a lot quickly and farther in a few seconds instead of a few minutes at the same speed.
Without another word, Sifir disappeared like a ghost. The snow lion just stared at the vanishing image of the last cultivator in range and area of influence. A loud roar came out of the snow lion for allowing these mere weaklings to escape from its grasp.
