Recently the Sea Enhancement Crew created a vortex that helped travelers break through the water-space barrier. It took a few tries to learn to use it properly but it really gave a boost to those that were not strong enough or just too tired. Juu looked at it and sighed. As much as he could probably break through the barrier on his own, he wanted to make sure he had enough energy for the expenditure ahead. He made sure his bag was on tight, tied his dark brown and red hair, and propelled himself into the vortex at an angle that would be sure to get him through quickly.
He remember the first time he went into the vortex. It was surprisingly fast and he puked. This time, after several trips out to space, he already knew what to do. The vortexes were new and they were hiring for trainers. He had another goal in mind.
There was a station floating about 1000 feet away with merguards and security sharks on standby. Juu shook off the nausea of adjusting to the thick space air and waited. He was finally here. He heard what sounded like sirens from back home but this sound was muffled and low. This was his first time hearing this in space. It kind of surprised him and he looked around for any commotion. He saw bubbles from where one of the guards were and he remembered what he heard earlier on Lionfish News. He frowned.
The contact with the other two investors was anonymous for security reasons. The meet up was at the 9th Vortex to space station. There were 10 vortexes altogether that was spread all throughout the sea. The guards were watching him but made no movements to intercept him. He felt slightly annoyed. Even though his planet did not play about the security and wellbeing of the people, the measures they sometimes had to go through could be a little too much for him. He then felt a vibration from underneath him and he hurriedly got out of the way. There was then another one not so long afterwards. Out of the barrier came two mers with a full suit on. He was sure they were the ones who he was meeting, and he was even more annoyed when they took their protective gear off and dumped them into the recycling bin.
"Heyya Juu! Didn't know you were the other investor, although I could have guessed off of your tone in the message you sent." Said Sherrie smiling and waving.
"Well then." Said Meena, the other investor, slightly out of breath. "Hey Juu."
"Hey. No time to waste, let's go." Said Juu.
As soon as they went more than 50 feet from where they were, they were surrounded. Giant octopus were floating with purple and green tentacles sticking out of their armour.
"Names please." Said a guard.
"Juu."
"Sherrie."
"Meena."
The guard checked the voice analyzer and they matched their profiles. They each received a galactic stamp pass on their arms. The guard removed the glowing pass made by the jellyfish with a special advanced wand. They were each handed a booklet about space then another one from long wriggly tentacles about the confidential details of each of their plans. Such precious information had to be kept safe with the officials.
The three headed away from the guard station with super speed towards their destination, Zelox Island. The island they have been waiting for. The one full of promise.
Juu only went out to space for finding new resources. He traveled far and near to find useful items. He thought actually owning an island would be a good thing and decided this island would be great for the long run.
Sherrie and Meena were excited about what they were going to find there. They had their photo cams packed and ready!
