"Ohhh, she wants to cry" Canice teased, and they all bursted into laughter.
"I never knew you were this soft, I never knew you could even cry, with the type of daring spirit you have" Chris snarled.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to speak to you in that manner the other day, I never knew it was you. I'm sorry please" Ivy pleaded, the tears she had been holding back all this while began to drop.
"Shut the f*ck up!" Chris growled as he landed a heavy slap on her cheek making her fall to the ground, and she squealed in pain, holding her cheeks. Soon she started sobbing badly.
"Come on Chris, why would you hit a beautiful girl like that?" Collins said in mockery, and everyone there chuckled, except Chris.
Ivy was still on the floor with her uniform, sobbing. And Castillo just stood there, studying her.
"Get up" he ordered after looking at her for sometime, but she remained on the floor crying, behaving as if she did not even hear him when she clearly did.
This angered Chris, and seeing her still sobbing, he reached and marched her back with his black heavy boots. And Ivy let out a high pitched cry, then she started coughing.
"Hey man, that's enough" Collins held him back, and he kept breathing in anger.
Castillo looked at Chris and then smirked.
"You're enjoying it right? I told you this would be a better idea, we do not have to expel her. She'll feel the pain more now" Castillo said, and they all nodded in agreement, seeing sense in what he just said.
Canice really enjoyed it as he saw Ivy on the floor, he personally hated Ivy, coz he saw she had come to outshine him. He has always been the best in his class, but with the way Ivy was behaving even from the very first day she came to the school, he knew she was one intelligent girl.
Letting someone take his position was something he detests so much, and what pained him the most was that mr Fred has already fallen in love with her coz of her intelligence.
He got to see now that expulsion was not the only way to silent her. If she is tortured by them like this everyday, she would have no time for herself. And better still, she could sign out on her own when it gets worse.
The C4's were really heartless people, they never feel pity for anyone at all. No matter the gender, they were ready to punish without mercy, as long as you're their victim.
Now Ivy has fallen into their trap, and it's a big wonder how she's gonna cope with this type of people. She was really a soft person at heart, and this boys were completely heartless.
Ivy remained on the floor, thinking about how's she's gonna cope with her life there. She's already feeling pains all over her back and face, and this is just the beginning.
"I V Y" Castillo called slowly, but she still remained on the floor, without even looking at him.
"For the last time Ivy, be on your feet now!" he ordered slowly, already beginning to get angry.
And slowly, Ivy stood up from the ground, coz she was was still feeling pains. She managed to stand on her feet, her head bent facing the ground.
"Look at me" he ordered again, and she gently lifted her eyes to look at him.
"Good girl!" He smirked, and they laughed hardly. They were really enjoying seeing the most daring female in Crestfield cry😂.
"We would love to eat, I want you to serve us" Chris announced, and they all adjusted their seats to a round table, where did could eat.
"Come take our orders now so you could go to the counter and get us food" Canice said carelessly, and Ivy sniffed wiping her tears, and arranging her uniform.
"It's just to serve food right? You can do this Ivy" she told herself mentally.
"What.....what are your orders?" She stuttered as she walked closer to them.
"Well I just need water for now" Canice said.
"Okay" she mumbled as she turned to the rest of them, awaiting their own orders.
"What are you still doing standing here? Didn't you hear what he just said" Chris snarled, and she quickly left to get the water without saying anything.
This people are trying to frustrate Ivy. She's gonna go get their orders one after the other, and this way she's never gonna make it to class today.
"I wouldn't have come to this cafeteria today, I brought this upon myself, so I have to bear the consequences" she consoled herself mentally.
🍻HOURS LATER⌛️
Ivy sat alone in the cafeteria looking really miserable. She stood serving the C4's for more than three hours, running round and taking their unending orders. And the most annoying part of if it was that at the end of the day, they ended up eating nothing.
They just deliberately stressed her in vain, and school hours was almost coming to an end, when they left her.
Ivy sat there, knowing her life was over. How did she ever get in contact with this set of people.
They were really heartless, the story she heard from Alvin and others were nothing compared to what she just experienced.
Most especially Chris, he f*cking hit her! Her back hurts so much now. Is this what she's gonna be facing here at Crestfield??
Something in her guts told her not to go to the cafeteria, but she didn't listen, she let Courtney talk her into coming here, and now this has happened to her. This is so not nice!
She remained seated there still crying, she refused to go back to class coz she knew all eyes would be on her once she enters there late. Seeing her eyes puffy, they would all know that something happened to her, and some would even start asking questions. So she decided to remain in the cafeteria, and cry out her eyes.

She was still seated there all alone, when Courtney rushed into the cafeteria with Ivy's bag pack.
"Ivy! Ivy!" She screamed, but Ivy was too weak to utter a word.
Courtney stood at the entrance, her eyes scanning the hall, and there she saw Ivy seated at a corner. And without hesitation, she ran to her.
"Ivy what did they do to you?" Courtney asked with so much worry in her eyes, and Ivy could not utter a word, as she simply bursted into tears.
"Ivy I'm sorry it's all my fault, I caused this" Courtney said petting her.
"I should have listened to you, I should not have bought you here" Courtney said crying, but Ivy did not say anything, as only her sobs could be heard.
"I searched everywhere for Alvin, but I was told their class was working on a project, and they could not leave the class. Leonard is absent today, I found nobody to help me" Courtney explained.
Now the school bell was rang already, and school was dismissed. Students started trooping out of their classes.
"Ivy I'm sorry" Courtney as she continued consoling her. And in no time, Alvin walked into the cafeteria looking round.
Ivy knew he was looking for her, and so she quickly wiped her eyes with the back of her palm. When she was that her eyes were still puffy, she quickly snatched Courtney's handkerchief and used it in wiping her eyes.
"Ivy what are you doing here?" They suddenly heard Alvin's voice, as he approached them.
"Ehmmm, nothing Alvin" she lied, smiling nervously.
"Are you okay Ivy, your eyes are puffy" he said raising his voice in the process. As he cupped her face In his hands, studying them.
"Sure sure, I'm fine. I just have this little thing in my eyes" she forced a smile, touching her eyes.
"Why didn't you attend classes today?" Alvin asked.
"I did" Ivy answered sharply.
"I mean after lunch break. When I went to your class to search for you, I was told you did not attend classes after lunch, and that Courtney came to take your bag away. I saw Courtney coming this way earlier, so I figured she should be coming to the cafeteria" Alvin explained.
"Oh that! I was at Courtney's class, I was helping her out with something. Right Courtney?" Ivy asked, looking straight at Courtney, and communicating with her eyes.
Courtney looked at her for sometime with a confused eye, before finally nodding in agreement. She could but seem to figure out why Ivy was lying about something like this.
"I just came here to eat something, and I asked Courtney to help me get my bag from the class.
Alvin took time to study her, a part of him knew she was lying. But he just had to believe her, she had no serious reason to lie to him. Right?
"Alright, let's get going" Alvin said and placed his hands on her shoulders immediately she stood up.
She bade Courtney goodbye and walked away with Alvin, while Courtney just stood there watching Ivy in confusion.
"What is Ivy trying to do to herself?" Courtney muttered.
She knew Courtney was shocked, but was just trynna play along with her.
But she has to, she has to keep this a secret from her family, if not her parents would not be happy with her, and she would have to quit Crestfield. Coz there is no way her mom would let her go through this type of stress.
She wanted to prove to her parents that she was worthy, especially her brother.
But once they find out about this, she would have to stop the school and become a dropout. Coz her family would never allowed her to be bullied by anyone, and she wouldn't want to be a dropout.
So it was best to be quiet about the matter, she will silently bear all this. Even if it is going to be hard.
