Chapter 2 - CHAPTER TWO

"Hi mum" Ivy greeted as she entered into the house.

"Welcome baby, how was school today?" Her mum asked.

"It was fine mum, is Alvin back yet?"

"Oh yes, he's been back long ago" she answered.

"Great, he's always the last to leave, and the first to be back. I detest that school of his" she scoffed, adjusting her bag pack, as she started going upstairs.

And her mum just simply smiled, as she watched her go up the stairs. She seems to have a personal issue with this Crestfield.

Minutes later, Ivy changed into something comfortable, and went downstairs to help her mom in preparing lunch.

She and her mom gisted all through the lunch making. They were like best friends, so she always told her mom about everything going on in her life.

Soon, they were done with lunch. Her dad was not yet back from work, so she headed to Alvin's room to call him down for lunch.

When she got in front of his room, she knocked softly on his door, and stood there waiting for his reply.

"Come in" came his gentle voice, and she gently pushed the door open before walking in.

"Hi Alvin" she greeted.

"Hi sis" he muttered, his eyes still focused on his phone. He was lying on his bed, operating his phone.

"Come seat" he said tapping a little space on the bed beside him.

"Noo don't worry, I'm not here to seat. Lunch is ready, I just came to inform you" she said.

"What are we having for lunch?" He asked.

"It's beans soup" she said and he quickly sat up.

"Wow, that's really good. I wanted to have that at school, but I never got the chance to" he said.

"That reminds me, I know you usually come home early, but it seems you were earlier today" Ivy asked.

"Yeah, I was"

"Any problem?"

"We were dismissed before time" he shrugged.

"And why is that?" She asked taking her seat on the spot where he had asked her to sit before.

"We had issues with some students today" he answered.

"Really? What students?" Ivy asked curiously.

"Who else but the C4's" Alvin huffed.

"Great! There we go again, what did they do this time around?" She scoffed.

"A certain girl disrespected one of them today without knowing. She is a transfer student that came in today, and ended up leaving today" he explained, and Ivy's eyes widened.

"It's so sad, coz she was really beautiful" he added jokingly.

"In what way did she disrespect them?" Ivy asked.

"She called Canice a loudmouth for answering a question meant for her" Alvin answered.

"Just that?" Ivy asked in surprise.

"She refused to apologize"

"And what was she supposed to apologize for? For stating the obvious? He really is a loudmouth for answering a question that wasn't meant for him" Ivy scoffed.

"Do you know what offense that is? Calling a member of the C4's a loud mouth, to his face. Come on Ivy" he huffed.

"Oh to hell with them, are they not humans?" Ivy hissed angrily.

"She was told severally to apologize, but she did not. And that provoked Chris really hard, and so he gave her a tight slap"

"Castillo requested for the immediate expulsion of the girl, and it was granted instantly" Alvin narrated.

"This is heartless! So heartless" Ivy shook her head in grief, and Alvin just simply chuckled.

"You're laughing?" Ivy squinted her eyes in surprise.

"Does that mean all of you in that school has become as heartless as the so called C4's" she breathed, causing Alvin to roll his eyes.

"Look at you Alvin, you used to be soft and all. What has Crestfield done to you" she spat, obviously feeling angry.

"Oh please leave crestfield out of this, people are the ones inviting trouble for themselves. What would it have cost her to apologize? And after everything she ended up saying sorry a million times, but it counted for nothing"

"So we all can see that she made the wrong move at first" Alvin shrugged.

"Thank goodness I am not in that school of yours, coz honestly I would have done same. I mean, what is there to apologize for?" Ivy scoffed.

"I know that's how you are, and I'm really grateful you're not I'm my school" he said and Ivy threw him a glare.

"Yeah coz you're stubborn and weak at the same time, you're not gonna find your stay there interesting at all. You know crestfield's not for the weak, it's for the the strong hearted"

"You'll take everything personal over there, which is not done that way" he added.

"So you're okay being in that evil school? You love the C4's" Ivy huffed.

"Noo, it's not like I love them, it's fine as long as I do not cross their paths. I maintain my lane coz I know someone like me can't have a fight with them and win, so I avoid anything that'll make me close to them"

"Sophia is understanding, and have always been doing as I tell her. The only problem I have is you, and as long as you're not in my school, there's no problem" he explained.

"Whatever, just come down for lunch soon" Ivy sighed and started walking away.

Ivy sat under a tree in front of their house, and was busy with her books. She had to submit her work tomorrow.

Then, a car parked in front of their compound, and seeing the car, she knew who it was already.

"Hi Ivy" Sophia said as soon as she got down from the car, and walked up to her.

"Hi Sophia" she forced a smile.

"Is Alvin in?" She asked simply.

"Yeah, he should be in the sitting room with my mom or inside his room" Ivy answered.

"Okay, thank you" she said and started walking towards their house.

Ivy kept staring at her till she went in, and then she released a sigh.

Ivy never really liked her, but she just pretends for the sake of Alvin.

Sophia knew that Ivy did not like her, but she was never bothered anyway, coz she knew she's done nothing to her. And it seems the feeling was mutual too, coz she also did not like her that much.

To Ivy, Sophia was a rich spoilt brat just like the rest of them in crestfield.

Sophia could cope with them there at that school, her father also has enough money, and he spends it on just her and her little sister. As they were his only children.

He lets her do whatever she wants, so she saw her just as the rest of them there. A spoilt brat.

Soon, Sophia and Alvin came out holding hands. She needed no one to tell her that she was taking him on one of her stupid outings again.

She takes Alvin on dates too much, and spends a lot on him, when it's supposed to be the other war round.

This was one of the reasons Ivy disliked her.

"Hey sis, I'll be back soon, I and Sophia wanna head out for sometime" Alvin announced as they got close, and she just simply nodded.

"Don't miss me too much, see you later" he said and pecked her on her cheek, while Ivy just smiled.

"Okay bye guys" she said.

"Bye Ivy" they said in unison, and walked away, still holding hands.

She watched them enter into her car and move out, before releasing a sigh.

She should just concentrate on her books, it's their business anyways. She shrugged.
