While sitting on the top of the bus, I kept an eye out for any demonic beasts that might attack using [Aura Vision]. Unlike the strip of forest between City J and I, there were many demonic beasts populating this area of the forest. Soon I got bored and I was tempted to open the box and see what was inside but Sera was sitting right beside me and I was cautious of her. But eventually, around fifteen minutes later, my curiosity won and I finally opened the box.
'A sword.' I thought when I looked inside and indeed it was a sword, a longsword to be precise. The sword was around two meters long from the hilt to the tip of the blade. It's hilt was bone white in color with a white cloth wrapped around it, it's blade was red in color with symbols carved into the blade. The next thing I noticed was that it radiated a powerful aura, almost on the level of mine.

I decided to try my luck and use [Demon Eyes] to get information on the sword, and surprisingly, it worked.
'Isn't that system remark a bit harsh?' I thought after reading the system remark. I could tell this sword was pretty powerful, way more powerful than anything I could create.
"So it's a cursed sword, huh." Sera said while staring at the sword over my shoulder.
'When the hell did she get behind me?' I wondered
"Who made it?" She asked
"No idea." I replied and turned my gaze back to the sword. I picked it up out of the box and Sera shifted away from me slightly.
'How come I couldn't sense it's aura when it was inside the box? Does the box prevent demonic energy from leaking out?' I wondered as I looked at the sword in my hand.
"Oh yeah, before I forget, I should give you this." I said and handed her the diary.
"Oh this, why not just tell me what's written in it?" She asked confused
"Trust me, it would be better if you read it yourself." I said and she took the book while looking at me weirdly but still decided to give it a read. While she was doing that, I swung my new sword to get a feel for it, I was by no means a master swordsman but I was surely better at using a sword than the average person.
'Sigh, how I wish there was something to test this on.' I thought
*ROOOOAAR*
'Speak of the devil and he shall reveil himself.' I thought when I heard the loud roar of a beast. Everyone in the buses and military transports seemed shaken as even those without [Aura Vision] can tell that the beast was strong, only Sera and I were not fazed.
"You should take care of it." Sera said, not taking her eyes off the book.
"What don't you wanna try?" I teased, remembering how I stopped her from dealing with the werewolves in City I.
"I know my limits." She replied, trying to hold back the anger in her voice. I smirked and hopped off the top of the bus and sprinted towards the beast. Since I didn't have an extra set of clothes with me, I decided not to transform in my Demon form and hope that this fight didn't destroy my clothes.
'I should have brought more clothes with me.' I thought regretfully. I ran through the forest at high speeds, dodging trees and other obstacles and soon, I laid eyes on the beast. It was a large white lion with icy blue eyes, it's mane and the tip of it's tail were made of blue flames. The beast was a bit taller than I was and it was atleast three meters in length, just looking at the lion I could tell that it was tier 4.
"Truly a beast worthy of the moniker, King of the Jungle." I said with a wide grin and gripped the hilt of the sword in anticipation.
