I slammed my hands on the ground and chanelled my aura into my shadow. Dozens of aura enhanced shadow hands flew towards th imp woman but she just smiled.
*Boom*
A small explosion sounded as the imp woman shot flames from her foot to shoot off with stunning speed towards me bypassing all of my shadow hands. I hurriedly raised a shadow wall as the woman's flaming fist shot towards my face. The shadow wall shook under the might of her flaming fist and almost dissolved back into a shadow but I managed to hold it together. I then created tentacles from the wall that wrapped around her fist and punched her in the face through the wall. Her head barely moved and her body started heating up and instinctively I flew into the air and as soon as I did the woman was shrouded in flames destroying my shadow wall.
"You have good instincts." The woman said as the flames disappeared. Suddenly her body grew tense and her veins bulged as her fierce red aura became visible to the naked eye. She roared and then jumped into the air speeding like a flaming comet towards me. I created a sphere around me but she punched through it and almost punched me in the face but tightened the gap where her fist punched through stopping her fist a few inches short. I transformed my shadow sphere into dozens of hands that constructed my body and I channelled all my aura into my hand and punched her in the face sending her flying towards the ground.
'I need something that can actually hurt her.' I thought as the imp woman got up from the ground. Although her jaw was a bit swollen it had already started to heal. As I thought of how I can actually hurt her my eyes wandered to my sword that was lying on the ground. With a smile, I activated [Shadow Cloak] and disappeared from the imp womans sight which seemed to annoy her.
"This trick again." The woman said frustratedly as she scanned the area with her eyes while at the same time I made my way towards the sword. As soon as I picked up the sword, her eyes locked onto me and she fired a powerful fireball towards me forcing me to raise a shadow wall. As soon as the shadow wall was dispelled, I saw a red fist making it's way towards my face and I instinctively blocked it with my sword which sent me flying into the air. I used my wings to stabilize myself in the air only to see the woman flying towards me and I channelled my aura into the sword and slashed at her incoming fist. At the last moment she managed to channel more of her aura into her fist, preventing her fingers from getting sliced off but they weren't far from it. Not giving her time to recover, I chased after her but she just hopped backwards dodging my attack. This continued for a few minutes until her hand completely healed and then she started counter attacking with fireballs forcing me to either block or dodge.
'What the hell? At this rate I won't even be able to land a single hit.' I thought as I blocked another fireball.
'I need to get faster somehow. Colin said that my aura could enhance anything so maybe I can enhance my muscles and blood flow.' I thought and the retracted my aura from my sword. I tried to channel my aura into my muscles, bone and blood vessels while also deflecting the imps fireballs.
It turned out channelling aura inside your body was harder than doing it on the outside as I felt a slight headache but I didn't have time to pay attention to the headache as more fireballs rained down on me. The more I retracted my aura into my body, the fiercer the headache tried to split my brain apart but I couldn't stop now. Soon the imp woman realized that my aura wasn't wrapped around my sword anymore and charged at me. I quickly took to the sky while keeping the other part of my brain concentrated on channelling my aura. She was relentlessly attacking me and more than a few fireballs impacted my body but soon I received the fruits of my suffering.
