As they walked to the center, people cheered and clapped. The orc narrator closed the bets and started counting from 3 to 1. Alex assumed a position 10 steps away from the orc. The creature smiled when the orc narrator finished the count, and the battle began.
Alex's enemy swooshed his left chain in the air. Alex ducked it for only a second, but the right chain was already flying towards him, and the thorns hit his shoulder, almost making his flesh bleed. Alex wasn't too concerned with his reputation of having no wounds, but he would be grateful if he could avoid getting them.
He still had the blood of the troll rushing in the form of arcanite through his body, but if he didn't need to use it, his attacks with the devil's hand would be more robust. So, he kept dodging, struggling to shorten the distance between him and the orc.
