Alex woke up from a dream he couldn't remember. He had learned that if you just stop and wait after waking up, you'll eventually remember what you dreamt. Not today, though.
He lay there in bed for five minutes, looking at the ceiling illuminated by the light of the grayest day he had ever seen since he came to this world. Nothing came back to him.
Somehow, he felt he needed to remember this particular dream, but he simply couldn't. Guess we can't have it all, right? Alex thought as he slowly got up from bed to exercise.
If he was going to be in jail and fight in the pits, he couldn't afford to be out of shape. With these thoughts in mind, the young elf started doing five sets of push-ups, squats, and crunches. After twenty minutes, he was sweating and tired, yet at the same time, he felt invigorated.
