Chapter 170: Another Space
In an instant, their world began to shift. Atasha felt a dizzying sensation as she was enveloped in a blinding luminescence that stung her eyes, a stark contrast to the relentless rain she had just left behind.
As she transitioned into this new environment, the sudden burst of light made it impossible for her to discern her surroundings. Reflexively, she squinted, shielding her eyes from the harsh glare.
Across from her, Howl watched with a calculating gaze as Atasha contorted her face, seemingly wrestling with an internal struggle. He was the architect of her discomfort. Or rather, he had orchestrated it to be so.
He knew that without a touch of suffering, she wouldn't remain the docile creature he needed her to be.
