Her words were left hanging when Howl's large palm clasped her waist firmly, pulling her closer to him. His touch was anchored gently.
But it's the sudden possessive gesture that sent shivers down her spine. Coupled with his towering figure of two meters that totally eclipsed Atasha's small frame, reaching only up to his broad, robust chest.
Atasha could feel his scorching fingertips and sturdy, strong palms just above her threadbare garment. Slowly, Howl's face drew closer.
Her breathing hitched but this time, Atasha kept her eyes wide open, despite her nervousness, not even trying to blink after being embarrassed earlier on.
