Suddenly, Atasha's surrounding was slowly engulfed in the softness of his feathered wings, blocking the dim light provided by the sunset.
A foreboding feeling rose to her chest thinking he was plotting something worse after she had said those things to deprecate him but Howl immediately told her off.
"This is just part of the ritual. We won't mate. Don't even think about it. " He made it sound so natural as if there was nothing wrong with it and a tone that screamed 'You're not my type, don't get your hopes up' as if she was the one wanting it to happen.
'Wow, talk about shamelessness.' Atasha was baffled that she almost voiced it out but she decided against it since it was her goal anyway. They had agreed on it.
Perhaps his mean nature towards females is to push them away. As it spoke volumes on how he was not into them and how he is into men instead. Atasha cluelessly concluded.
