Chapter 104: Tangled
In the bustling marketplace, several Adarnas had set up their stalls, offering a variety of goods ranging from fruits and grains to raw materials like dried cotton fruits freshly harvested from cotton trees.
Atasha was drawn to these offerings and would have eagerly made purchases if not for Zethus's prohibition. He was concerned about the potential danger of wolves in the area.
"No matter how much you pout or protest, I won't allow you to leave," Zethus declared resolutely.
Atasha, seated on his lap, playfully poked his cheeks. She had risen early, while it was still dark, to avoid the vertigo-inducing sight of the ground far below as they descended from their lofty dwelling.
Yet, Zethus remained adamant, refusing to let her assist the others.
"Darling… Hubby… Honey…" she cooed, showering him with endearments in an attempt to sway him. However, Zethus remained steadfast, repeating, "No. You can't."
