Chapter 82: Blissful Moments
Days whizzed by like a blur, and the once gloomy faces of the three snake brothers morphed into something akin to a sunflower field in full bloom. Their faces now radiating as if they had been feasting on a buffet of vitamins and glutathiones.
The torment and exhaustion they endured for three days of waiting for that pesky bird, seemed to have been replaced by a blissful spa retreat.
"Good morning, wife!" Regalus beamed and lifted up his ladle to a pause from stirring the meat on the wok, as he saw Atasha coming out of the room.
He strode closer to her and gave her a morning kiss on her cheek which still had a fresh pillow mark. "Such a lovely day, right? But you, my dear, is lovelier than any day," he added while smiling brightly, planting yet another kiss on her other cheek before going back to his cooking, afraid it would burn.
