Atasha groaned when she heard that infuriating title that was fueled by his misconceptions of her origin. Yet, she could not blame the innocent and clueless man.
Her face crumpled like a thin sheet of paper but her rage was all in vain! What's the point of being angry when she couldn't even justify herself and come out clean about her species?
Atasha wished she could simply just tell the other person that, 'Hey I'm a human from another planet and was abducted by a fraudulent system selection that happens every century!'
But she can't!
I mean, it's not like she can just casually tell Regalus that she was an alien from another world that was thrown here because she doesn't look great, right?
Then, just expect that the other person would believe all that nonsense in a heartbeat. That was ridiculously unattainable and untrue!
