Mai and Mio didn't even need to report the situation to Lucian, as at the moment of Aerine's disappearance, he immediately sensed something was wrong.
At the mansion, Lucian's eyes abruptly opened as it flickered with crimson light. Fury was evident in his eyes.
"Who dares?" A dark aura surged out of nowhere; the mansion's activity was disrupted when this aura appeared.
They knew that their master was enraged.
Lucian stood, his expression grin, and the crimson eyes gave a cold light.
He couldn't sense Aerine. Their contract was still there, and yet he could feel that Aerine's presence in this world was very faint. That only meant one thing: they were separated by one dimension.
Aerine was not in this world.
"Elise," he called darkly.
