After the shadow swiftly snatched the dragon pearl, it charged toward Cori with alarming speed. Despite his sharp reflexes, Cori was stunned by the shadow's impetuous attack and was swiftly taken captive once again. As he found himself in the clutches of his captor, Cori's mind raced with thoughts of how this particular situation felt eerily familiar. "This! Why is this feeling so familiar?" Cori wondered to himself, the overwhelming sense of déjà vu left him bewildered.
"Stop struggling! It's me!" the familiar voice said to him.
"Senior?!" Cori said in astonishment, "What sorcery is this? You are so fast! I can't even tell it's you!"
"Of course! My parents are even faster," she said with a grin of satisfaction spread across her face while she casually dodged the pursuing crowd and skillfully casted obscario on Cori. As she reached a secure hideaway, Sam carefully undid the magic and proceeded to give detailed instructions to her junior, "Hey Cori, use your skills on it. See if you can find any clues."
As she loosened her grip, Cori managed to slip from her grasp and used his imbued observational skill on the radiating dragon pearl.
System, "Wishing dragon pearls- a distinctive collection of seven dragon pearls, each adorned with a brilliant sparkle that corresponds to a different number from one to seven. Once the complete set is gathered, the mystical dragon is summoned, and the user is granted a single wish. However, the pearls enter a dormancy phase after the wish is granted until their draconic energy is replenished. Dragon pearls are made similarly to oyster pearls but what sets the wishing dragon pearls apart is their rarity, as the draconic energy is condensed into pearls concurrently in the dragon."
"So how?" Sam asked, anxious that they would be discovered.
"Map!" Cori summoned and asked, "Show the locations of 'Wishing Dragon Pearls'."
The system showed 7 glowing red dots pinpointing the locations of the pearls. "I found the locations of the remaining pearls," Cori said.
Sam kept the object of desire in her inventory and waited for Cori to reveal the remaining locations. "Share your screen with me, just tell the system to 'Share screen with Samantha Spears'" Sam urged.
"Are we supposed to complete the hunt by today?" Cori asked his senior as he felt he had numerous errands to attend to.
Used to his lack of common sense, Sam explained, "As we gain experience points for our skills, remember that levels are earned only by completing quests. The higher our level, the easier it becomes to master high-ranking skills. Although we can improve our abilities with points, it takes much longer to do so. But with this quest, we can hit 2 birds with 1 stone - earn favour from Kareem and level up."
Cori saw a glimmer of hope in controlling his sealed skill and readily shared the map with his senior. The both of them analysed the map in a hidden corner. Sam who was already familiar with campus grounds relaxed her breath and said, "We're lucky that the balls didn't land on any of the halls. It would be troublesome to find a reason to go in." She adjusted her thick-rimmed glasses and smirked, "You're so lucky today! Another one just landed in our hall, right where I wanted to take you."
