Chapter 5 - survive

He ate enough to satisfy his hunger, added firewood and placed the meat in the middle of the smokehouse, to smoke it and preserve it for as long as possible

After Naoto finished, he gathered his things

He started looking for prey, so he moved slowly and quietly between the bushes with caution, and after walking for some time, he began to hear a voice from above the bushes and saw small monkeys playing among them and eating fruit.

The fruit looked delicious, so he thought about getting some. He approached the trees to pick the fruits, but one of the monkeys noticed him and started screaming. All the monkeys turned their attention to the screaming monkey and headed towards him, so that their gaze fell on Naoto. Naoto knew that he would not be able to attack the monkeys, so he quickly put down his spear. In the warehouse and started running for his life, however, the monkeys were very fast and caught up with him within moments. The monkeys started throwing stones at Naoto, causing him to get hit from all directions. Naoto tried to defend himself as best as possible, but they were too many and he couldn't defeat them.

He started running until he reached a slope. He remained confused in this life-and-death situation between two options: either jumping or being beaten to death by the monkeys. Naoto jumped with a little hesitation from the slope. In the midst of his fall, he collided with quite a few branches. He sustained injuries of varying severity. He extended his hands towards the bottom of the slope, trying to slow his fall. His nails cracked and his hands were cut, causing damage to his hands, but he continued to cling, and continued to slide towards the ground.

When he reached the ground, his injuries were worse than he expected. He was in severe pain and had difficulty breathing. He was unable to move due to serious physical injuries.

However, Naoto knew that he could not stay here. He had to find a way to survive. He looked around and found a cave nearby. He used all his remaining energy to slowly crawl towards the nearby shelter.

He started crawling, his body full of injuries.

After strenuous efforts, Naoto reached the cave. He entered the cave and lay on the ground, feeling increasingly exhausted and in pain.

But he was determined to survive and return

He decided that he would stay in the cave until he regained his strength and recovered as much as possible. He knew he had to maintain his health and stay away from additional risks.

Days and nights passed, and Naoto slowly regained some of his strength. His health condition began to improve and he felt less pain. He had consumed his food and there was only a little left that would not be enough for him. He decided that it was time to leave and look for something to fish. While he was exploring the area, he heard the sound of water nearby. He headed towards the sound and found a charming waterfall, which was not his. A specific name, but its magic goes beyond words. The water flows dramatically from the top of the waterfall, and its drops dance delicately and beautifully, and the rays catch the light and paint a rainbow of colors. His voice is full of life and magic, as it resonates with his sweet and strong voice.

And next to the river

A herd of wild deer appeared, but Naoto noticed that one of them was different from the rest of the herd

Its color was green, like the color of trees, which allowed it to blend in with them. It was larger in size and had large horns on which some tree leaves grew.

Naoto used the Eye of Awareness and focused on the different deer to see its condition

(Name: forest plant deer

'Tsk, his stats are higher than mine'

Naoto felt a little disappointed

But he decided to try,

Naoto summoned a spear and got close enough to the deer to make sure it was hit. He tried to be calm and

Careful not to scare him

Naoto slowly approached the deer and prepared to attack, taking an appropriate distance to target the deer with his spear. Then he threw his spear at the deer, but the deer was very fast and easily avoided the arrow. The deer fled the place after sensing danger, and Naoto quickly followed it

A fierce chase began between Naoto and the deer. The deer used its speed and agility to escape from Naoto, but Naoto continued the chase with all his might. He ran and jumped over obstacles and bushes, trying to catch the deer.

After a long chase, Naoto was able to get close to the deer and took a chance to attack. He threw his spear at the deer and hit it hard. The deer fell to the ground and was unable to move.

Naoto approached the injured deer and stabbed it, but as a last attempt to survive, the deer stabbed Naoto in his left arm with its sharp horn. Naoto felt severe pain, and his arm began to turn blue.

(The host has been poisoned with a special toxin, normal antitoxins will not work, the system advises the host to survive.)

"How can I do that?"

Naoto was thinking of a way to stop the poison, but he did not have any medical knowledge, not to mention that normal methods would not work. He had to think quickly, but he ran out of solutions. At this time, he had lost feeling in his arm and was unable to move it.

Finally, he decided to feel the poison creeping into his body

"Since my arm is useless, I won't need it."

Putting a stick in his mouth to relieve the pain resulting from the injury, Naoto took out his spear and held it with his right hand. He decided that he would cut off his injured arm to stop the poison from spreading through his body. He began to prepare himself for the pain he would feel and took a deep breath. Then he hit his arm hard with his spear, cutting it in one place. Tears fell and the pain became unbearable and blood was bleeding profusely, but Naoto was determined to survive and return.

After he finished cutting off his arm, Naoto felt faint and began to lose consciousness. He fell to the ground and started bleeding profusely.

After a while, Naoto gradually regained consciousness. He noticed that the bleeding had stopped and that he did not feel the pain as strongly as it was at the beginning, but he could not move much due to the loss of a lot of blood. He tore off his clothes and used them to tape up the cut site

He felt very weak, and slowly, Naoto got up from the ground and walked with difficulty towards the deer's body until he fell to the ground in front of him because he lost his balance.

"Is...venison...poisoned?" Naoto said as he struggled to breathe, asking the system

(No, the antler is the only poisonous part of the deer's antler. I'm sorry, host, this is your test and I can only give you some advice)

Naoto crawled towards the deer and began to eat its meat raw, with his body unable to move or make any movement due to the loss of a lot of blood. He slowly eats a piece of raw meat with his hand that dangles helplessly next to him. Feelings of hunger, exhaustion, and weakness overlap on his face in the silence surrounding the place. All he could hear was the sound of his heavy exhalation as he ate the raw meat. After he finished eating, he got up with difficulty and sluggishly and began walking towards the waterfall, following the path that... It came from him

Every step hurt and made him feel weak, but he didn't stop.

Naoto was moving cautiously, as he was finding it difficult to maintain his balance due to the loss of his left arm. His balance was unstable, as he relied more on his right arm to help him move.

Naoto looked exhausted and tired, his face showing signs of dehydration and longing for water. Sweat dripped from his forehead like golden drops the color of the sun, and he wiped his sweat with his remaining hands

After Naoto reached the waterfall, he began to stop for a few moments to feel the fresh air coming from the waterfall. He felt the breeze of moisture touch his skin, calming his thoughts and relieving his fatigue.

Naoto lay down on the sandy ground near the waterfall, closed his eyes, inhaled deeply, and lowered his head into the water to drink.

Feeling the cold water flowing on his face and quenching his thirst, he felt refreshed and life gradually returning to his weary limbs. He enjoys the gentle touches of water on his face,

Naoto relaxed for a while, regaining his strength. He fell into a heavy sleep from fatigue

He reached the end and was surprised to find there nothing but hot ground. The ground was black and covered with red. It was a land of volcanic lava.

Naoto Kan knew that he couldn't stay here long because of the danger of the volcanoes and lava.

But he decided to fight it, after he entered the ground

The lava was very hot and hard on the feet. He had to move very carefully to avoid getting burned.

There were also strong volcanic eruptions that occurred from time to time. He had to be ready to escape at any time before he was in danger.

Although it was difficult to survive in this environment, he persisted

Suddenly, Naoto discovered a small cave nearby.it was unordinary to find a. cave in a volcanic place but he didn't think too much , He decided to hide in the cave so he could get away from the whale. He quickly entered the cave.
