Lin Dong was in charge of driving, while Gu Lingfei sat in the co-pilot's seat.
There were only the two of them in the car, and Gu Lingfei said,
"Teacher Lin Dong, sorry, I made you pretend to be my boyfriend without asking for your permission."
Lin Dong gave her a look and said, "Pretending to be your boyfriend is nothing, but was that kiss just now too much?"
Gu Lingfei's cheeks flushed. "It's because they didn't believe me. And, that was my first kiss."
"Hmm? Really? You've graduated from university and it was still your first kiss? Haven't you dated before?" Lin Dong was puzzled.
"No," Gu Lingfei shook her head. "Teacher Lin Dong, shouldn't you step it up? They've all sped away without a trace."
"If we lose later, we'll have to carry everyone's backpacks. How are we supposed to climb the mountain with so many bags?"
She was also feeling a bit shy, so she didn't want to dwell on that kiss from earlier and changed the subject.
Lin Dong nodded and started to speed up.
