Nan Feng laughed coyly, "This isn't the best place to talk, we'll chat more when we get home."
When they got home, Ye-ge brought in the groceries and headed for the kitchen, while Nan Feng quickly retreated to her room and hid under the covers.
By the time Ye-ge entered, Nan Feng was feigning sickness again, "Ye-ge, I'm really hungry!"
Ye-ge approached Nan Feng, pulled back her covers, and slowly leaned in, "Care to confess?"
"Are you jealous?" Nan Feng teased, tapping his nose lightly.
"I am actually quite possessive. I can't even bear to hear about these things, let alone see them," he said with a serious expression.
Nan Feng chuckled, "You certainly are possessive."
"Who said we would be together for a lifetime?" Ye-ge asked, his voice low, raspy, and - dare she say - sexy.
Together for a lifetime?
Nan Feng didn't recall saying such a thing to Ye-ge – except once… Ah, it was during the night of the lantern festival.
