Qin Yin spent the whole day at home in a daze, but she couldn't manage to go outside. When she called Jian Yanyan, Jian Yanyan and Liu Ruoju were being instructed by Nan Sichen on some matters.
She looked at the caller ID, glanced at Nan Sichen, and only after he nodded did she answer, "Hello, Yinyin."
"Yanyan, I'm locked up at home by Nan Sichen; I can't go out. I can't watch TV, there are no newspapers, and I can't use the internet either. Could you tell me if there's any media coverage on what happened last night?"
Qin Yin didn't bother with any pleasantries and asked directly and urgently.
Nan Sichen shook his head at Jian Yanyan, so she said with a smile, "No, Yinyin, are you perhaps overthinking it? Nothing happened today; everything is normal."
"Really?" Qin Yin asked skeptically, "But why won't Nan Sichen let me go to work?"
"Maybe, maybe Young Master Nan is still angry," Jian Yanyan didn't know how to answer Qin Yin's question, so she made something up.
