Che Xi was still sitting in her original spot. Upon seeing Qin Yin coming out, looking quite dejected, she burst into laughter. "Some folks truly overestimate themselves. They don't take a good look at what they really are before daring to make a move on Mr. Nan," she sneered.
Qin Yin gave her a glance but held her tongue, instead whipping out her phone to call Nan Sichen.
Che Xi walked over to her, arching an eyebrow with a sly smile. "How does it feel to be sent away by Mr. Nan? Did you honestly think just because he helped you last night, he was into you? It was dark last night; he probably didn't see your true face clearly. Now, in broad daylight, do you really think he'll still fancy you?"
Qin Yin tilted her mouth into a smirk and said, "Turns out in your eye, Nan Sichen is nothing but a superficial man."
"You..." Che Xi was so angry her face turned pale. "I never said that about Mr. Nan."
"But that's what you implied, isn't it?" responded Qin Yin, shrugging off the matter.
