The restaurant manager looked back at several waiters, somewhat puzzled, and finally wiped a handful of sweat, scolding, "Didn't I tell you to wait outside the door? Did you go in and disturb Mr. Nan?"
The waiters quickly shook their heads.
Miss Che Xi's face turn even paler, she was barely able to stand. The restaurant manager quickly supported her, "Oh my, Miss Che Xi, what's wrong?"
He then looked at Nan Sichen for help, thinking, this lady is Mr. Nan's woman. I hope Mr. Nan would not mind him touching his woman.
"Take this woman out." Nan Sichen coldly ordered.
The restaurant manager was in disbelief. This lunch prepared so meticulously by Mr. Nan wasn't that for Miss Che Xi? But now he was using such a cold tone to say 'Take this woman out'.
It turns out the rumors were true. Mr. Nan was really cold-hearted. Even the woman who had been doted on to the extremes a moment ago, could be treated as a stranger in the next moment, or even worse than a stranger.
